New Oculus Rift not detected with Unity build

Hello,

I brought the new oculus rift this week (Europe) for working with Unity3D

Unity 5.4.1f1, Oculus utilities 1.8.9 installed.

When I'm working on the Unity Editor, everything is working fine, oculus detected, camera head tracking working fine.

But when I build a .exe, nothing works, the Oculus Rift is not detected.

conf :

Dx11
GC : Gtx970
Proc : i76700

The oculus is working fine with the oculus market place.

Any ideas?

Edit : The only thing working for me is to build in development mode, but this in not acceptable for my customers...

Edit2 : in output_log.txt, in release mode, there is a error line saying : "Security error. This plugin is invalid!" displayed multiple times. Nothing in development build.

Sorry for my multiple answers, I didn't noticed the "edit" button....

Try updating to 5.4.1.p1 (under patch releases). Support for 1.8 is in the patch release.

Have you modified or replaced the OVRPlugin.dll in your Unity install folder or in the built app's _Data/Plugins folder? Please use the version that comes with Unity.

No, I made a fresh install of Unity, and changed nothing in my built app's folder

This error means that Unity is somehow using an invalid copy of OVRPlugin. If you can attach output_log.txt, it will say where the DLL is located.

Looks like Unity no longer reports the location of OVRPlugin.dll. Can you PM me a build of your game?
