Maybe, Unity version you are using with me is different.(I'm using Unity 4.3.3)
Please try this.
1. Create new project
2. Import original OculusUnityIntegration.unitypackage
3. Import OculusUnityIntegrationOVRAgent.unitypackage *.cs / *.shader files only.( Don't import prefab )

Thanks for the effort.

Altho the OGL version may be too slow to be usable; texture rendering is probably an order of magnitude faster.

Hi, I'm new in this forum.
I've try your package for MAC but when I play the scene on Unity, I can see only a blue screen.
I think that this screen are created by a second couple of cameras that is activated when i make play.
the error that Unity give me is:

UnityEngine.Camera:set_projectionMatrix(Matrix4x4)

i have follow your instructions:

1. Create new project
2. Import original OculusUnityIntegration.unitypackage
3. Import OculusUnityIntegrationOVRAgent.unitypackage *.cs / *.shader files only.( Don't import prefab )

I have Unity 4.3.4

can you help me?

Thanks to your reply.
Please try this.

- Switch platform to PC, Mac & Linux Standalone( Not supported WebPlayer, etc... )
or
- Launch StreamingAssets/OVRAgent.app manually.

I think, not running OVRAgent.app and failure setup projection matrix.

@Nora
Thank you for your answer. but I still have the same problem.
I have controlled the regular activity of OVRAgent.app and I can confirm that start automatically.
I making some test, and I see another thing.
in play mode I see a blue screen if i set the pannel "Game" in Free Aspect.
if I set it on "Stand Alone", I can see a screen split in 2. the left half is all black. and the right half is all blue.
I see that there is something that maybe is strange.
I press Play, then in the Hierarchy pannel I can see appear an object call OVRAgent. I expand this and select "RenderTextureRight". here I can see in the Inspector, that in the bottom, where it is the setting of shared, there is "OVRLensCorrection_CA" and he's texture, is a solid blue colour.
if I open "RenderTextureLeft", I found a solid black colour in the texture field.

do you have any idea?

thank you

Thanks to your report.
Even here has been tested, but did not reproduce.
So, I'm make simple sample project.
Please try this.
- Create new project.
- Import OculusUnityIntegrationOVRAgentSampleSimple.unitypackage at all assets.
- Open scene Scenes/Sample
- Press play.

- This tested in Mac OS X (10.7) + Unity 4.3.3.

@Nora

Thank you for the package. I try to run it but now I see a black screen on Game Panel and I have the error message:

IsMatrixValid (matrix)
UnityEngine.Camera:set_projectionMatrix(Matrix4x4)
OVRCamera:SetPerspectiveOffset(Vector3&) (at Assets/OVR/Scripts/OVRCamera.cs:369)
OVRCameraController:ConfigureCamera(Camera&, Single, Single, Single) (at Assets/OVR/Scripts/OVRCameraController.cs:272)
OVRCameraController:UpdateCameras() (at Assets/OVR/Scripts/OVRCameraController.cs:245)

At this point I think that it is a problem of my MAC. hardware, OS or configurations.......
I don't want make you lost more time, so I think that I will wait a fix in future or I will change my project.

Thank you very much

Hi,
I just wanted to post and thank you for making this. I've wanted to start learning how to use Unity, but as my primary interest is in making VR content, I've been very hesitant about locking myself into an engine where I'd need to pay so much so early on. This helps me teach myself about Unity so eventually I can make content (and maybe get Pro down the line).
