I'm trying to implement subscriptions in my app that is using Google Play Billing Library using Meta Horizon Billing Compatibility SDK. I am able to retrieve list of all subscriptions, however when I try to test purchase one of the subscriptions the purchases list is empty.When I call functionbillingClient.queryPurchasesAsync I've got billingResult.responseCode == BillingResponseCode.OKbut the purchases list is empty.
From a tutorial/template world in DE, I sent/shared the link to preview on my mobile device. When I select go, from my mobile device, it hangs on world load. I've stopped fiddling with it since I'm not sure what the issue is. Perhaps I'll have to publish it first?
As the title suggests, in a 2D app created with Unity, I am unable to press buttons using rays from the controller or hand tracking. However, if I physically reach out to the position of the app window, the buttons can be used.How can I make it possible to press buttons using the ray?Interestingly, this was working seamlessly in HorizonOS v71 without any additional setup. However, after updating to v72—or in older versions like v63—the behavior reverted to what I described above.I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you can offer.Test Environment:The issue occurs in a simple scene where UI buttons are placed, using either the Built-in or URP render pipeline. Tested with Unity versions 6000.0.28 and 2022.3.22.Thank you in advance for your help!
On v74, the native package installer is broken.We all can't install nor update .apk files anymore. After clicking the Install or Update button, all goes transparent and nothing appear.On all previous Meta Horizon OS version, there were a progress bar and some buttons and the result was a success.
Dear Meta Support Team,I am developing an application for Meta Quest 2 and facing an issue with activity layout resizing. When transitioning from LandingActivity to AdminSettingActivity, the expected layout size does not change according to the specified android:defaultWidth and android:defaultHeight values in the manifest.Despite setting android:resizeableActivity="true" and using the necessary meta-data for free resizing, the layout remains fixed. Could you please provide guidance on resolving this issue?Looking forward to your support.Best regards,Kanwarpreet Singh
Basic events like touch is passed on onTouchEventbut how to get event on pressing button and moving the joystick on 2d app porting it to meta quest ?
Requesting help, I previously developed an android file manager to install APK files within the device, but after updating the v74 firmware in Quest 3, I can't install APK files within the device, previously I was calling com.android.packageinstaller to install APKs through the intent method, but now I can't install APKs. How can I fix it? This is my call function:function install(path, uri)local intent = Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW)local ext = "apk"if path:find("^/sdcard/Android/data") or path:find("^/storage/emulated/0/Android/data") thenuri = getDocumentUri(path)endif uri == nil thenlocal file = File(path)local filename = file.nameext = filename:match(".+%.(.+)$")if Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= 24 thenintent.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_GRANT_READ_URI_PERMISSION)uri = FileProvider.getUriForFile(activity, packageName, file)elseuri = Uri.fromFile(file)endelseif Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= 24 thenintent.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_GRANT_READ_URI_PERMISSION)endendintent.setDataAndType(uri, MimeTypeM
So, I'm developing my first VR game that'll be published to the Horizon Store. Right now, the total Tri count of the game scene is 52K, with about 80K vertices. I'm not 100% done with everything, but with ambient occlusion, it'll be around a constant 20K Tris, 13K vertsHow does it fair against other games? What are your guys' personal experience with optimizing your large-scale maps?((I do want to note that LODs are kind of hard to do for how my map is set up, as the main beef of the map is a maze))
Hi, I have noticed that the Apple Intelligence writing tools, which were initially available in WhatsApp when Apple introduced them in iOS 18.2, are no longer accessible. It seems that WhatsApp has disabled support for these tools in recent updates.These writing tools were incredibly useful, especially given the absence of Meta AI writing assistance within WhatsApp. Their removal has significantly impacted the typing experience, making it less efficient and intuitive.Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a workaround? It would be great to know if there are plans to re-enable support for these tools in future updates.Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
We're using Facebook's automatic event logging for our Unity game, which is live with daily purchases on both iOS and Android. I’m considering starting an ad campaign optimized for Purchase events but have concerns about the following:Missing Android Events: In Events Manager, Purchase and Initiate Checkout events only show for iOS, despite Google Play Console confirming recent Android IAPs. Other automatically logged events like App Installs and Activate App include Android, so I'm unsure why these purchase-related events are missing.Unvisualized Parameters: The Purchase event parameters (e.g., product_type, currency) are toggled on and should be collected, but I can’t find a way to visualize this data to analyze product popularity. Even in Ads Manager, columns for Purchase or Initiate Checkout are always blank, including for iOS.Retention Not Tracked: D2 Retention and D7 Retention events are not logged at all, even though we have strong retention metrics from GameAnalytics. Anyone have script available for Target Image AR?
I plan to develop controller emulation software on the Quest platform that needs to be recognized by games as authentic controller input. Furthermore, I intend to integrate this software with our proprietary seating system to enable game control through the seat. What methods are available to achieve this functionality? Are there any better or alternative solutions available for consideration?

With so many advancements in phone technology happening so quickly, I'm curious about the latest trends we should be keeping an eye on. It feels like every year, new features are making our phones faster, smarter, and more intuitive. Whether it’s Android lock screen widgets, new AI capabilities, there’s always something new. What are the top trends you think are worth paying attention to right now?
Hi, folksI have developed an App, PinoFBT (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pinosoft.pinoquest&hl=zh_TW&pli=1), on Android. PinoFBT is developed with Unity, so I plan to add inside-out body tracking and migrate it onto Quest Store with the native body tracking data from Meta XR all-in-one SDK (https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/meta-xr-all-in-one-sdk-269657) and Meta movement SDK (https://github.com/oculus-samples/Unity-Movement.git). However, after I installed Meta XR all-in-one SDK, my PinoFBT project became VR immersive from a windowed app. I need to keep it as a windowed app. It looks Meta XR all-in-one SDK has forced it into the VR immersive. Could you guide me on how to set it back to the windowed app? Thanks!
