PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3.

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:

1) For issues: Go to our
Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

I understand.  I know other people have said they were able to completely disable boundary while in passthrough but for some reason I haven't been able to.  Not sure why.  I must have hit some setting that is now preventing me from disabling it.

Again I have no way of disabling physical space.  I must have a bad headset to have all of these issues.  Sadly I got when it was first out so no way to exchange for a better one.

See and then it takes you directly to immersive mode which sort of defeats all of these steps since I want it disabled for my passthrough

May I see a picture? Of the developer mode?

Ok, that Physical space feature disable only for immersive mode.

Yep.  But you see the above photos, how the blue circle shows on the video Faceless Lady on Meta TV as well as in passthrough.  Surely there is a way to disable that or have it "less" obvious at the least?

And yes, to disable the boundary for immersive mode and not passthrough makes absolutely no sense at all considering even if the physical space is tight, at least in passthrough you can make out where you're going but you can't see a thing when in immersive mode, so that's another reason why I am harping on this, if it can be disabled in immersive mode then surely they could have it disabled or toggled to be disabled in passthrough.  Sorry that I didn't clarify all of that.

Meta AI does pick up Live Caption now:

    1. Accessibility

    2. Hearing

    3. Live captions

    4. Enable Toggle for Live Captions

    5. Customize Style ( if you like)

There must be something amiss MoonstoneWolf7

I don’t have a boundary in passthrough mode unless I go into an app. If I boot my headset up, it boots into passthrough mode and there is no boundary. I can walk anywhere in my flat and the windows just float wherever I left them. I see no blue circle
