PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3.

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:

1) For issues: Go to our
Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

Well all three are not working.  Where is Meta Support that they can hop in on this?  The Raybans are not listed to add on the Horizon app.  And neither are showing in the cloud.

Migrating Meta Ray-Ban photos and videos to Meta Quest 3 on iOS:

    1. Download and install the Meta Horizon app (formerly Facebook View) from the App Store.

    2. Sign in with your Meta account.

    3. Connect your Meta Ray-Ban to the Meta Horizon app.

    4. Select the photos and videos you want to transfer.

    5. Tap "Export" or "Share" and choose "Meta Quest" as the destination.

    6. Sign in with your Meta account to complete the transfer.

Alternatively, you can also use the Meta Companion App (if available on iOS) or transfer files via Meta Cloud Storage (as I mentioned earlier).

Note: Ensure your Meta Ray-Ban and Meta Quest 3 are connected to the same Meta account for seamless transfer. If you encounter issues, try restarting your devices or contacting Meta support!

I don't know if that's the same steps. But I tried to help

Yea I guess Meta took that function away.  Only devices I have are the various headsets.  Raybans are not listed on that list.

Probably was a thing, but not anymore. I'm not 100% sure

Which is weird because I got the Skyler Raybans that Meta just released 2 months ago so it doesn't make sense that they'd remove that.  I think there's a Rayban subform here that I'll check over there.

Ok somehow I have a connection to 3 accounts on headset.  One through Facebook, one through Meta and one through Instagram.  Not sure how that happened as I only signed up with the Meta account.  Now that is to the headset.  I have no idea how to check which account my glasses are connected to.  What happens if I delete the other two accounts on headset?  Am I just tough out of luck and no longer able to use the headset?

V69 has fixed the issue I was having under v68 of controllers falling asleep and being unwakable, so that’s nice. Unfortunately, I’ve lost the feature to hide apps in my library, which had finally rolled out to me last week. I had hidden all my defunct apps (Netflix, Echo Arena) and demos, and now they’re all visible again.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3. Try my game: Cyclops Island Demo

nalex66 Echo Arena is still active. There's a modded version on Github. Alot of players. Both VR and PCVR
