PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3. 

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:


1) For issues: Go to our Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

      They finally added this to my headset from V68 update, I'm using V69

        You're able to launch games from the download tab too.

          When I mentioned about the QR code option when PTC V69 was first released. I found out later that this was an update from V67 in the beginning of July I never received.

            The Meta Quest 3 can download multiple apps and updates simultaneously, but it's limited to a maximum of 3 concurrent downloads.

            This means you can:

            - Download up to 3 apps or updates at the same time

            - Continue using your Meta Quest 3 while downloads are in progress (though performance might be slightly affected)

            However, keep in mind that:

            - Downloading multiple large files or updates might slow down your Meta Quest 3's performance

            - If you're downloading a large update or app, it's recommended to focus on that download to ensure a smooth installation process

            You can monitor your downloads in the Meta Quest 3's Settings > Downloads menu.

              Please Fix Meta quest LInk, When I connect with cable/Airlink It disconnects instantly or disconnects in any time after v68. Please fix it cause i can't play PCVR titles.

              Spacial Audio is simply broken. The position of the sound changes, but the position is completely different from the window that is the sound source. And a window that is not the sound source become the sound source. 😫

              Also, please fix the problem with the store filter function & "browse all" as soon as possible. Only a small number of games are displayed. Meta frequently takes actions that reduce software sales.

              Yeah I’ve turned Spatial Audio off. I use the browser to watch Netflix in theatre mode. I like making the screen as big as possible and pushing it away from me a bit to make it a more like a cinema screen (I really wish there was an easier way to push the window back). But when I do this, the sound from the stream sounds really quiet and distant.

              Having lots of problems with bhaptics x40 vest disconnecting from quest 3 after 5 to 10 minutes.

              This is happening on a friends quest 3 too.

              We are both on v69.

              This has only been happening for a couple of weeks.

              Anyone eles having the same issue?

              Have factory reset the quest 3 and run countless tests for meta and bhaptics :0(

              Anyone else get the invitation to the September 25, 26th event?  Is this IRL or online as well?  There's no way I could physically travel to this but if it was virtual I could attend.  I'd hate to register only to find out I'd have to physically go somewhere.  It's the Meta Connect.
