PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3. 

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:


1) For issues: Go to our Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

      Is there anything can be done about the Bluetooth lag when playing media in the browser? I get that there is lag inherent in the Bluetooth connection but the Amazon prime app effectively syncs the audio when playing films and TV shows. I’d like the browser to do the same…at least when in theatre mode

        Can the PTC release thread be split into 2 versions please.

        One for the USA that get pretty much all the new features and the other thread for the rest of the world that DOESN'T ! (ie. multi-modol, voice control, AI etc etc etc) I ask this for 2 reasons, firstly we don't have keep asking where these features are and if we are ever getting them (NO!) and it also it makes the thread easy to read I we don't have read through loads of posts about features we never are going to get! and focus on the issues that we do have!

        I know this idea is common sense, so I totally expect it to be totally ignored by meta and even a few sarcastic comments from trolls!

          Moriarti4 better consider on each headset is different, Meta Quest 2, 3 and Pro are not the same.

            Origami4gami_TTV Why would that make a blind bit of difference ? (not being rude.) the simple fact is that certain features have only been available to USA users (Must be a server thing or something?) Yet rightly or wrongly Meta has advertised these features globally (yes small print at the bottom of the page saying USA only etc etc) but it can be a tad misleading to the not tech savvy? but I wonder from the point here being it doesn't matter what headset you have (I have a 2, 3 & Pro) none of them have ever had voice control and ever will!, will they ever have AI features as I live in the UK? So therefore my point being 2 threads as i've found with this current thread reams and reams of meaningless chat about the AI features I will more than likely never see to find issues that do make a difference to my beta build.!

            Meta AI is not in UK for reasons, due to regulatory concerns

            Meta AI is expected to be released in other countries beyond the 22 it is currently available in, including the UK, but the exact date is yet to be announced. The company has mentioned that it will be available in more countries soon, with new languages being added, including French, German, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

            Meta AI is available on Meta Quest 2, but with some limitations. Users who are 13 and above and located in the US and Canada can use Meta AI on their Quest 2 headsets, but need to enable it manually.

            Yes, Meta AI is available on Meta Quest 3. In fact, the Quest 3 is the first headset to have Meta AI built-in and easily accessible.

            Also, Meta AI is not available on Meta Quest Pro. Meta AI is currently available on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3, but not on the discontinued Meta Quest Pro. Meta AI is still in the making for Meta Quest Pro
