PTC v69 Release Thread

The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest v69 is starting to roll out soon for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3.

If you're seeing an issue or bug after updating to PTC v69:

1) For issues: Go to our
Get Help board and search for any existing thread on the issue, if you don't find one, make a new thread. Please add the tag "PTC v69" to the thread and in the title. This way everyone can look for just PTC v69 issues too.

2) For bugs: If you come across a bug, please post each one you spot in its own thread, to keep track of individual issues separately.

Share your impressions in the comments below and let us know if you see any issues.

Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting on the forums if you notice anything going wrong.

We know it's tough when you run into a problem on a PTC build and want to thank you all again for testing out PTC and sharing your feedback! This feedback is extremely helpful to our engineering teams. We appreciate your interest and persistence in testing out the core functionality of software as we develop!

Das.Bearski Like the original Meta Quest - Meta Quest 2 original way of measurement for how much space is required

MoonstoneWolf7 is your space for roomscaling an even dimension? Or is there a chair in the way or an furniture sticking out?

Anonymous The room is empty and I still get the circle and no means of physically drawing room scale boundary

And I was able to do the boundary before this update.

6.5 ft by 6.5 ft is the dimensions.

But have you tried deleting boundaries space like what I told you before?

Nevermind they didn't change the measurements, it started to work after I turn on more light and deleting my data from the previous boundaries. With the chair sticking out I'm able to roomscale now

I want to edit my text so I get rid of false ideas lol

Data from previous roomscaling needs to be deleted, 3 area that they are saved. And maybe more light was the issue

Yes I deleted them before.  Nothing in the room 17 x 24 as we'll be renovating upstairs and I thought I'd try in an empty room to see if that makes any difference.    Support mentioned, however, as well as Meta ai on the site to go into immersive mode to do the boundary.  I'll try that in a bit but my headset is charging now.  Also support suggested that even if I'm sitting in a 5 x 5 area, draw the room scale out much larger than what I need and I won't be seeing any lines.  I have done that and it works but it doesn't save and I have to redo every time I restart my headset.  Not sure if that's because the headset is still downloading in the background new features or not though.
