After many, many hours of testing today, i can say that my issues with the wild floating and snapping right controller is fixed now. Yeah! :)

There are a few minor tracking glitches though. Sometimes the controller floats away and snaps back within a second. But this is nothing in comparison to the tracking issues i had before the update.

So i can say that i'm very, very pleased and happy with the new patch. Thank you Oculus!

You say your floating, snapping issue was fixed and then say it floats away and snaps back.... that's not fixed then, lol. I too was looking forward to the update and was pretty happy with my 4 sensor setup before the update, but after the update it's gone pretty bad. I used to play every day and now I'm feeling like it's not worth dealing with unplugging and re plugging in sensors and having all these issues. I sure hope they can get this fixed soon. I don't want to wait another year or two for Gen 2 and I don't want to buy a Vive to have better tracking with a cumbersome crappy display. 1st world problems right?

    What i mean is this:

Look at this video i recorded! That was before the update. This issue occured after 20-30 minutes of playing every f*** time. Now it's gone and the only minor issue is that sudden snapping within a single second every one or two minutes. I would say that this is an improvement.

So far so good after playing for many hours today in vr. tracking for me has been much improved for me altho i still get some hiccups when moving from my front two sensors to my third sensor. so far i havent had either of my hands spiral out of control or have any shakiness in either hand when playing for even long periods of time. used to get an annoying glitch where i would have the right hand start to visually glitch slightly shake constantly compared to the left hand. Then it would drift out of control which would be super annoying especially when trying to aim a sniper rifle in rec room paintball.  This  issue usually happened even when playing just facing the two front sensors and really not even trying to turn around face the third. It also happened when i just wanted to use 2 front facing sensors and not bother with plugging in the third (after recalibrating for just two sensors of course). All in all, im personally in a much more stable place than i was a few days ago. so thanks to oculus for that. However, i feel awful for those that are either still having issues or have had previously no issues before the patch that are now experiencing problems. hopefully oculus will be able to resolve those issues asap. keep giving the support team that feedback guys

Hi there - ever since I installed the firmware update 1.11, I can no longer download or install any new Oculus software. Always an error message telling me there was a problem. Tried restarting Oculus home and my PC, nothing has worked. Internet connection is solid. I have a Dell XPS 8900 (Oculus PC bundle). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@shortie115 I'm seeing some access denied errors in your log. Maybe anti-virus or security software causing a conflict. Can you try disabling your anti-virus? If that doesn't work, try the Oculus repair install.

    Hey there!
This last 1.11 update seems to have fixed the sudden change of height I was getting with 2 or more sensors.

However, it has also started a completely new bug. Now, when I move around in my play space my height SLOWLY increases until 10 minutes later I'm 8 -10 feet tall. I've reset sensors and did a completely new installation of oculus with a full setup.

I hope this one is a quick fix!

I'll post my logs once I get a chance later.

    UPDATE*

I tried 2 and 3 sensor setups with the same results, My height seems to very slowly increase in-game till i am extremely tall or literally in the ceiling depending on what i am playing. I also noticed (by punching my wall a few times) that my guardian walls seems to be moving to the left (facing my front two sensors) into my wall over time. Sometimes it seems like the guardian system moves at the same pace as my height changes.

Also i noticed that it seems like my cameras still slightly jumped abit while i was in the "set your view in vr" screen during setup.  This SLOW elevation changes make you have to do sensor reset every 15 minutes or so. It did seem to be slower with 2 sensors then with 3, i think it happens when you walk back and forth in your play space.

    Here are my Logs,
    Please take a look!

I had my floor go down five feet under the floor, I haven't had that happen before.

Hello guys. Unfortunately, I'm one of those who are negatively affected by this update. I have 2 sensor front facing setup, one sensor extended with 1.5m USB3 cable - no issues with that. Originaly, I experienced only jumps of Touch when they were switching from being visible by one sensor to being visible by two sensors and back. Almost every tracking/sensor issue I'v heard of is now reality for me:
    1) sensors shifting around during guardian setup
    2) guardian itself shifting by 50cm and more while in Home or games (not just jup, it stays there)
    3) slow height drift (I'm getting taller, now I'm 2.5m) while in Home or games (not just jup, it never stops or resets)
    4) jumps, jitter, floating away of Touch controllers
    5) is it possible that also HMD tracking is affected by this update? I just have strange nauseating feeling from time to time (like if it is wobbling or delayed a bit) even in Home - I'm not talking about simulation sickness
Nothing except Touch jumps happend to me before the update. I have to re-run setup every 30 minutes to get rid of at least 2) and 3).

I am not sure why but this has sorted out pretty much all the jumpy issued I had. I have a 4 oculus sensor, 2 usb 2, 2 usb3 on a PCI-Express inateck card, the headset usb on the main usb card. Camera does not jump anymore, hands are properly tracked.
