Have you encountered this situation?
Hi! I'm Oculus developer and we have our app on AppLab. So, now our organization is going to undergo verification. 1) Will we be able to change the organization later if necessary?2) Does the verified organization necessarily have to match the organization through which the meta pay will be made later?
Is there a list of all available endpoints for In-App Purchase API? There are 3 examples on the documentation page but it's unclear if there are more endpoints or what they would be. I could not find any others no matter where I searched./verify_entitlement /consume_entitlement /viewer_purchaseshttps://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/ps-iap-s2s/
There used to be an export button for In-App Purchases, on both the overall revenue and bundle details. I use this data for our company to break down statistics down on a PowerBI dashboard, but since it disappeared I am out of luck. Is this a permanent change? Is this a temporary removal? What other routes are available to me for this data?
Wireless casting is not possible on the meta quest developer hub.
We received a response on our 10th Feb re-submission (v3) - there was an issue in the metadata selectedI missed checking a couple of fields and we continued with the last selected settings2 fields need changes:Supported Controllers: remove Hand TrackingSupported Player Modes: Remove Sitting and Standing, and select RoomscaleI tried to change these but am receiving this message - that is preventing me from saving the changes and resubmittingThis metadata has been approved and cannot be modified.Go to the Submission Tab to create new metadata. There is no button to add new metadata on the Submission Tab.Not sure if this is a gap in the submission process or am I missing something?Q1. How do we edit our app metadata once it has been approved? We tried to change the build to an older one (1.04) to see if that would allow us to change the metadata. However, now we are unable to return to review the latest build submitted 1.05. We receive a message saying only draft builds
so my game approved on applab, so all my video, trailer, image are old, so i wanted to replace to new assets but i can't replace to new assets because my game approved already. do you know how to replace old image and video to new image and video?
When I upload my file I won't to get a test to run on then be on the beta channel it just has a blank space and wont do a test. Anyone know how to fix this?
Our app is free but we do not want it to be distributed to everyone publicly. We only want it to be released to anyone who is going to join our event. Since we can set private testers in the RC channel, this is suitable for us to control which users can use our app. Then the question is, if we use the channel like that, does it count as an abuse? Since we are not using it for testing?
Meta rejected all my admin verification requests because they couldn't read the docs I sent them (multiple times with different lighting conditions (artificial and natural) and resolutions). They also suggest trying to verify as an organisation or with another admin account. But I'm the only admin, and I'm the only person that works on the project. Is it possible to release an app on AppLab without being an organisation? Like in the way you release apps on Apple's AppStore. Because right now, it seems like you have to have an organisation to be able to drop something on the AppLab (which is, I guess, supposed to be a little bit more friendly for indie devs and experimental projects).
I have an Oculus developer account admin@chatclick.ruI'm trying to log into this account through a server in Germany, I specify a username and password, a six-digit code comes to the mail, but the letter does not come. What should I do?My Oculus ID: click_devdate of registration 10.05.2017How can I change e-malil?
Hi,Recently I saw that we have to verify our org with documents or the admin of the orgs documents like passports etc.I went to see on the submission process what documents was needed and left. Returned and it's "pending submission" and no way to cancel it. Cuz in short I don't have business docs to submit. Was gonna verify myself with my passport in the admin section. Going to the admin verification bit on PC and it asks for my webcam (don't have one) to take a photo of the passport. So I switch to my phone to take a photo and there is no longer an option for me to take photos/submit my verification photos. Just "add person" and "remove person". Please please PLEASE Meta, reject my submissions and make it so I can submit my passport with a photo again please! Or a reset option in case someone fecked up like I did! If anyone has solutions to this odd problem I am all ears. Cheers in advance.
We are using ovr-platform-util "set-release-channel-build" command in our release pipeline to push our latest builds to Oculus dashboard. We have no issue with our internal channels, but it's impossible to push to the default production channel of the app.We get the following error from ovr-platform-util:ERROR: The provided release channel (Production (App Lab)) does not exist. This channel was present by default when creating the app in Oculus dashboard, and we use it to release to our users so it's not possible to switch to a different one.Things we tried:- Creating a test channel with spaces and parenthesis in the name: the set-release-channel-build command works on the test channel- Deleting an unused internal channel called "Production" to avoid potential name conflicts: no changes- Calling the set-release-channel-build command using "Production" to see check if oculus use a different name internally f
We recently received a message on the developer dashboard to update developer verification requirements, and we follow the instructions to pass the requirements (we select "business verification"). Yet, in the final step of verifying the organization email, we always get an error code saying "There was a problem saving your changes. Please wait a few minutes and try again." Please see the attached screenshot. We wait several times and redo the instruction again, yet always fail at the last step. Can you please fix this bug? it now prevents us from updating our apps, which is quite annoying.
It makes lag. The number increases especially when the device manager tab is selected. Reinstalling change nothing.
I have received emails about the need to verify the developer organization. I am trying to follow the directions on Developer Organization Verification | Oculus Developers for Admin verification. However, I have no Verification button on my Org Manager page. Could I please get some help to complete the verification? Thanks!
Hi,We tried several times to set a build of our applications to the Production (Store) channel, but we always get the following error.
I want to submit my application for review in app lab and fill in the meta fields. The final step was choosing the price of the application, but I can't choose it (I need to set it to free) because the dropdown is loading endlessly. What should I do? Is the payment info flag only valid for paid applications or do I need to fill in this information in order to select free? There are no errors in the google chrome console.
I was surprised to see that a new user I added to my organization with ONLY a permission to "view apps" is able to see all other members in the organization? Is that intentional? Shouldn't that be a permission in itself? (I expected that user to only see themselves i.e. to remove themselves vs seeing all users that aren't relevant to them and potentially revealing identities of other users in the org)
All builds submitted to my release channels in the last 24 hours have no vulnerability test results and are therefore not published to the release channel. Examining the test results of these builds shows this: "No test runs were found to be associated with this build."Is this a system-wide issue or just related to my app?
When i try to enable Two-factor authentication via phone number, to verify my account this happens (on the pic). How to verify my account with phone number?
Hi everyone, I'm a new developer. Hi,When we look at the taxonomy guidelines (https://developer.oculus.com/resources/publish-taxonomy-guidelines/) then it looks like the 'Education' genre is available under the 'Apps' and the 'Entertainment' category. However, when we are filling out our app metadata in the developer platform then the 'Education' genre is available under 'Games' and 'Entertainment' but not the 'Apps' category. This is obviously a mismatch between the documentation and the developer portal.1. Is this a bug in the developer portal or is the documentation not up to date?2. How does setting the app category affect discoverability? Right now we are forced to mark our app's category as 'Games' so we could enable the 'Education' genre.
I work for an early stage startup, and we recently had our app verified for release on Lab. Since then, the higher ups decided they wanted the app to have a different name and asked me to create another app and release it under the new name. Now the question, how can I remove the first uploaded app? I'm really not finding any kind of docs on how to do this.... Thanks!
When I tried making a new app in the Developer Dashboard, and going to App Submissions -> Pricing, it was simply stuck on "Loading..."
