Hey Ashish here can we use the camera pass through for the robot to navigate

My account was disabled unexpectedly, while I was in the process of just operating my daily scrolls with no ads/campaigns running in the background, no spam activities as well. And surprisingly there’s no appeal link or option in anywhere for disabled accounts. I’m not getting proper channels to connect facebook support team. I believe this was an error as I have been an active and loyal member of Facebook. I would request if this can be checked and my account can be restored as that's how I stay connected.Let me know if you would require any further info to verify my account.Looking forward to a positive response from your side.

Hello everyone, I’m wondering how to record a complete set of gesture movements for the Quest 3 to recognize—for example, having it detect when I stretch out my palm and wave, rather than only recognizing when I’m holding my palm still in front of me. Could anyone help me with this? Thank you so much.To be honest, the Quest 3’s user gesture interaction experience has left me a bit frustrated. I have to rely on my thumb and index finger for extended periods to perform operations—like making a fist and extending my index finger to click, or pinching the objects or interfaces I want with my thumb and index finger. It was okay at first, but after prolonged use, this puts a significant strain on my fingers. Moreover, it’s not smooth enough to fully integrate the operations into my daily life experience. So I want to make some attempts. I hope the Quest 3’s gesture interaction experience can be as smooth as that of excellent web front-end pages—seamlessly integrating into daily life like the

Is it correct that there is nu separate Unreal Engine forum anymore?Greetings from the Nehterlands.

Hello,We are developing a VR experience in which people can meet in a virtual space. Using Meta Avatars would be great for optimisation purposes (compared to MetaHumans). If that's not possible, what VR character models are you using? The robot mesh with no legs in the Collaborative Viewer Template isn't ideal for our purposes. Ideally, we would like human characters with different hair colours, arms, legs and outfits.

I’m developing an internal Kotlin app for Meta Quest that reports headset performance data to our servers. When running as a regular app, I can’t access the same system-wide metrics that com.oculus.ovrmonitormetricsservice logs every second. From adb shell logcat I can see the data, but from inside the app I get nothing — logcat access and /proc reads are restricted.I’ve also tried reading from Linux system files and running shell commands, but due to Android sandboxing I only get metrics for my own app process. Is there any supported way (API, permission, intent, or service binding) to access those metrics from a normal app, or is it limited to system-signed packages?

Hi everyone,I’ve been debugging a strange rendering issue for weeks and finally narrowed it down to Mobile Multi-View. Setup:Unreal Engine 5.5.4 Oculus ForkMeta XR Plugin v78Quest 3 The problem:When Mobile Multi-View is enabled, my Landscape shows “cracks” and flickering holes near the camera — almost like the sky leaks through the ground. The issue:Happens only near the player.Far away, the landscape looks perfect.Disabling Mobile Multi-View fixes it instantly. It happens both in Vulkan Mobile Preview and on the actual Quest 3 build. Material complexity doesn’t matter, even a flat opaque color shows the same behavior.I’ve tested:Rebuilding the landscape (even a new one).Forward Shading, no Nanite, no Virtual Textures.CustomDepth off, no post-process volumes, near clip plane 20cm.The issue only disappears when Multi-View = false Has anyone else seen this?Appreciate any help.Thank you!

I’m a creator and developer currently working on an original voice-related feature concept that I believe could bring a fresh creative layer to Meta’s ecosystem. It’s something connected with voice transformation and emotional storytelling, but due to its unique nature, I’d prefer to share full details privately or under NDA / confidential context. Who would be the right contact person or channel to discuss this idea securely? Thank you,Dalce

I have been trying for months to upload our PCVR game to the Rift/PCVR store. The MQDH keeps failing. There was a time when it worked but only by giving you an error claiming it didn't... then by chance it seemed to succeed in the background anyway. Now it's not working at all. I have been using MQDH to upload the Quest version just fine for years, so I know what I'm doing. But perhaps there's something undocumented that's different about the PCVR upload process? I have asked about this in numerous places and had no consistent working answer. I'd appreciate someone who knows what they're doing getting on a call with me to for 5 minutes to resolve this. Our launch has already happened on other platforms, and Meta's PCVR store is getting left behind due to this.

Hello, I am facing a weird issue with my IAP in my testing account where every time, I try to fetch user purchases:IAP.GetViewerPurchases().OnComplete(msg => { if (msg.IsError) { Debug.Log($"Error: {msg.GetError().Message}"); //lands here every time return; } //other code }and this is error message:OVRPlatform [Purchase] Purchase::deserialize: response object field "grant_time" was not a uint64. Value is: -120and my log message:Error: Server response is not valid JSON.This started happening after my test subscription expired and I deleted the subscription from my dashboard. -- UPDATE --Same issue with `IAP.GetViewerPurchasesDurableCache()`-- UPDATE 2 --Looks like this problem is occurring with `IAP.LaunchCheckoutFlow` as well. In my opinion, this is likely a test account only issue but there is no way to confirm.

youve locked the bootloader, youve sent out faulty updates which people couldnt roll back from, youve now blocked the disabling of oculus.com.updater. when is enough enough

HELP! I was away from Unity for a week, now passthrough is not working on any of my projects when connected with link. When I opened my last project, a very simple meta tutorial, it asked if I wanted to update something to fix an issue (I didn't pay attention to the specifics) and now when I try to play my project the passthrough is black with a big vertical streak in the middle and some signs of the real world at the bottom. I have restarted everything and it is happening in every project I have. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I've spent the last couple hours trying every solution I can find, and I'm hoping someone here has encountered this issue before. I'd really appreciate any insights!Since today I can no longer upload my APK. Yesterday it worked without any issues. Now I only get "Build Upload Error - an error has occurred for app id: 2419021912065984 | ||" without further details.Error Details:- Error Code: | 1 | (ChildProcess Exit Code 1)- Even with --verbose flag no additional info- Shortly before: EBUSY: rdiff.node error (resource busy)What I've already tried:- MQDH 6.0.0 → 5.3.1 → 4.4.1 downgraded- Command line upload with ovr-platform-util.exe- Bundle Version Code increased multiple times (181 → 185+)- PC restarted- MQDH completely uninstalled/reinstalled- Keystores configured correctly- Player Settings checkedTechnical Info:- Unity: 6000.2.9f1- Target API: Android 12 (API 32)- APK is signed and works on Quest devices- App normally uploads new builds without issuesQuestion:Is this a known i

I just released a (paid) plugin for easy and fast camera access in Unreal, which has support for Quest 3 passthrough camera access, including accessing both cameras at the same time. It is possible in theory to access one camera in Unreal using the built in camera plugin, but (a) it is slow and inefficient, (b) it won't let you access multiple cameras, and (c) my plugin gives you a simple, supported way of accessing the cameras, including handling permissions and getting textures directly to GPU rather than loading them via memory.Get it here:https://www.fab.com/listings/b1ad42b6-f1f5-479c-a2b2-af24cd4bc18b Example code and demo projects here:https://github.com/joemarshall/directcameraexamples

All in one SDK now forces us the dependency of XR Simulator which currently causes compilation issues on Unity running in GNU/Linux. Why all in one SDK requires the dependency of XR Simulator, that does not make sense!Either remove the requirement or fix the code so it actually compiles...

Hello, french here.Because of my GPU being incompatible with Meta Link and compile time too long, i wanted to have at least the simulation working. But on play mode, no simulation page is open like on any video i have seen. Nothing happens. I do not have any errors. The play mode is on play. Nothing usable on play (gray screen mostly caused with the stuff at 0,0,0)My specs are:Unity 6000.2.8f1, Window 10, Intel GHU Graphics 128 MB, RAM 16 GB, Intel i7 1.8 GHzAgain, i have found nothing to help me on the internet. If simulation do not work, link incompatible, do i have any others means with a sub-app like sidequest ?Good day and thank in advance for your help.

For our wedding, we really wanted to create an experience that felt fun, interactive, and personal. We didn’t want our guests to just sit and watch — we wanted them to truly enjoy the day with us. So, we planned a mix of entertainment throughout the celebration to keep the energy flowing.During the cocktail hour, we’re having a live acoustic band playing soft romantic and classic songs. It sets a relaxed, elegant mood while guests mingle. For the reception, we decided on a DJ instead of a full band because it gives us more flexibility with the playlist and keeps the dance floor packed. We’ve even planned a few surprise song dedications for family members to make it more personal. To make the night even more memorable, we’re adding a photo booth with fun props, and we’re hiring a caricature artist to draw quick portraits for guests to take home — it’s a great keepsake and a fun way to fill any downtime. We’re also planning a late-night snack bar reveal right before the last dance. It’s a

Hi there!I'm trying to implement Voice SDK into my project but when I install it (with the batch file adressed in documentation), I'm not able to compile project or even start the editor. Anyone using Voice SDK with 5.6 succesfully? Here's the error I'm getting:1>WitHttpEngineIncludes.cpp.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: __cdecl FHttpResponseCommon::FHttpResponseCommon(class FHttpRequestCommon const &)" (??0FHttpResponseCommon@@QEAA@AEBVFHttpRequestCommon@@@Z) referenced in function "class SharedPointerInternals::TIntrusiveReferenceController<class FCurlHttpResponse,1> * __cdecl SharedPointerInternals::NewIntrusiveReferenceController<1,class FCurlHttpResponse, class FCurlHttpRequest &>(class FCurlHttpRequest &)" (??$NewIntrusiveReferenceController@$00VFCurlHttpResponse@@AEAVFCurlHttpRequest@@@SharedPointerInternals@@YAPEAV?$TIntrusiveReferenceController@VFCurlHttpResponse@@$00@0@AEAVFCurlHttpRequest@@@Z)1>WitHttpEngineIncludes.c

Hey all, First off, not a developer at all. However as a youtube streamer, I use metaquest dev hub for the much better quality, and wider view of the cinematic mode for my broadcasts. Every game I run and play is meta quest 3 native. So, I've run in to the issue with several games where running MQDH, the game hangs on loading (all these games work perfectly fine without MQDH) with a recent example being Titan Isle. In addition, all games do work fine on the meta casting website, but quality, sound and view all have problems of some shape or form. Just really wanted to confirm that there is nothing that I could possibly do my end to resolve this issue, and that it is something the dev of said game has to address? I havent tried any of the add-ons avaliable in the download tab, as I wouldnt know where to start. What brings me here is that I figured in these cases, its a tough fix and could require alot of work to sort, for just me 😅. However, recently I reached out t

Title: Movement SDK avatar separates from rig only when spawned after Quest 3 OS v81.1034 (Fusion 2)Device/OS: Meta Quest 3, v81.1034Unity: 2022.3.XX LTSMeta XR Core SDK: X.Y.ZMovement SDK: 74.0.0OpenXR Plugin: X.Y.ZNetworking: Photon Fusion 2Summary:After updating the headset to v81.1034, the player works correctly if the avatar is pre-placed in the scene. When the player is spawned over the network, the retargeted avatar separates from the OVR/XR rig (visual offset/drift). This setup was stable for about a year and only started breaking after the OS update.Video of the issueNotes:Some objects are intentionally disabled per guidance from the Movement SDK team for multiplayer (local-only tracking, remotes passive).Request:Could you confirm if this is a known regression/change in v81 and advise the recommended fix or version matrix? It’s frustrating to have working functionality break mid-development.Thank you and waiting for response.

So, I have seen the Apple and Android devices that have recently come out. If meta is planning on developing their own that might work... they could consider making the bulk section completely capable of separating in half and covering the ears while staying firmly part of the head space, and acting like speakers when separated. Thus, allowing the vision to remain available without taking off the headset and being able to be reimmersed when put back together. I would recommend using magnets for holding the headset together and comparing the ergonomics of different strength magnets.
