I've been trying to get the purchase screen in the shop to pop up but have yet to get it to work. I've been playing the game for about a week and have caught most of the fish at Bobber bay but can't access the store to buy anything. Anyone know of a way to get past this? I see it's been an issue for some time now and I know it works for some people.
What shop? If you mean the Bait & Tackle store, you just "walk" to it, enter (it has no door) and there is a board to the right of the counter that you "buy" your items from. I was just there a minute ago and it is working fine.

It doesn’t show for everyone though. I have been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and every time I walk in there, I’ve yet to see a purchase menu. It shows for some people, not for everyone!

I've had the same issue. There's no board to purchase anything.
Oh, the purchase board is invisible until you stand right in front of the centre of the shop's counter. If it's not appearing, maybe you have to recenter your view or you are standing too far away 😀.
The weird thing about that shop is that the AI store person keeps repeating the last 3 or 4 words when they speak.
I'll give recentering a try today. But yes I was practicing my parkour looking around the entire island trying to find the mythical purchase screen.
I have the same issue. I walk up to the counter and nothing shows up, nothing pops up, I've tried from every angle. I've tried in a private server I've switched servers I've restarted the game I have never been able to see the shop when I walk up to the counter
I have reported it not working i need to buy a ticket to other island but cant due to it not pPing
up if they don't fix it i guess uninstalling it.
It is nearly impossible to uninstall Worlds, in my experience.
I think there is a round about way to do it if you youtube it, but theres no simple uninstall option...I tried. Cause i'm tired of getting Worlds notifications
You can disable the notifications for the Worlds app in the headset settings. SETTINGS->NOTIFICATIONS (scroll right down the bottom to "Worlds". Just toggle it to OFF.

Not long since purchased the 3S and went into the Bobber Bay world and as has been reported here several times about the store purchase screen not appearing I to am having the same problem in both bobber bay and gator grotto stores. I initially reported it to Meta Store Support who directed me to the forum as they believe the developers are active on here and will sort the problem out pretty quickly. Having seen the comments on here that have been posted over several months about this problem it appears I am wasting my time but who knows miracles may happen but I won't hold my breath.
Er, how did you get to Gator Grotto if you can't access the main store purchase screen? You need the Gator Grotto pass, which you purchase for free from the main store 😜.
It was part of the package when I subscribed to the Meta Horizon + with the 3 months free trial. Don't really need the shop display now as I received some TNT in the daily reward in Gator Grotto and got the Alligator to finish off my collection. By the looks of it the devs don't seem interested in sorting any of the bugs out and there are many in this game.
Same problem here. I have a quest 2 and quest 3 and I can’t see the stores purchase menu on either headset. I have tried restarting my modem, router…, I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled/re-installed it numerous times to no avail. I have been to gator grotto twice because other players spawned the boat to get there and caught most of the fish there. I am missing the gator because I can’t purchase dynamite since the grotto store purchase menu doesn’t show for me either. I wonder how the game chooses who to show the menu for and who it doesn’t. This game discriminates I swear! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad you have confirmed you can get to Gator Grotto by just hopping onto the boat when someone else calls the boat as I have the Pass and was wondering if I could just invite any one whose about to go with me. If you go again to Gator grotto you can get the TNT in the daily reward there if you are lucky enough to go on a day that is the daily reward as I did and hence get the Alligator. The Devs must be working on this at some point as the notice board on the pier has changed regarding the way to cast the rod and line. Also the large whale that was there you could jump on and take a ride around the bay has disappeared.

Think today o solved the mysterys. Ist the Meta Ai. If your from anywhere outside the USA or Canada you won't ever see that purchase window. Seen it multible times now. I go in the shop. No window. Someone else comes in the shop, gets greeted by the shopkeep (by name) and then makes a lot of hand gestures infront of the counter.
Everytime i see someone enter without getting greeted i hear the words "where do i buy stuff "
So yeah,
Its the Meta Ai contolling the poppup window. No doubt in my mind.
(If you see this Devs, pls fix or everyone from anywhere in the world exept the us and canada will continue to have problems)

Er, not correct. I see the purchase window and I am outside USA and Canada 😁. I do not have Meta AI as it is not available in Australia 😁.
On the flip side of Fish Whisperers comment, I'm in the US and have never gotten the purchase screen.
I also do not have the Meta AI.
Hmm. When I first visited the Bobber Bay store, I got some message about some features being disabled because I didn't have AI enabled. I wonder if perhaps people in countries that support Meta AI (USA, Canada etc) but have it disabled might be the ones experiencing problems? Have you tried enabling Meta AI to see if the store screen starts working?
So I joined the Discord and found out in there that there is a bug reporting system in game. By pressing ABXY on the controllers it brings up a bug reporting screen so I have reported this problem there with video of the problem. Hopefully I may get some action through that.
You won't. We've been reporting store issues for ages. I got my headset last Christmas and the shop was having issues then too. The game has been around longer than that.
They do update it as they've changed the inventory/fishdex but they've done such a great job of that they've deleted my gator grotto pass I had and of course I can't buy another. So that got reported as well.
