2FA deadlock, Meta's AI support locked me out of my account, they basically stole my games.

Question

Hello, I have a different account from this one on my Meta Quest. I have my passwords to my facebook and Meta Quest account, but I recently changed my phone number. To change the 2FA phone number on the Meta Quest account I get prompted to send a code to that old phone number, which makes absolutely zero sense. A reminder: I am easily able to log into my facebook account this Meta account is linked to and access all the security settings. But if I try to add my new phone number for the Meta Quest 2FA method, it requires sending a code to the old phone number. Please help.

Unfortunately it's a common problem. To have a seamless transition, you need to set up your new number before changing the phone. Which doesn't really make sense. I've learned to always keep my same number when I change phone or mobile company. Hopefully Meta Store help will get back to you soon, and others here might have better advice. 🤞🤞&nbsp;

I have found multiple threads regarding this issue, one of them leading to me messaging MetaStoreHelp​ which has so far not yielded a response. I am patiently awaiting a resolution to my problem.
