How to access old oculus account

First off - its very frustrating that you cannot contact anyone from facebook/meta - no email no chat no phone number - and their support function is a endless loop that doesnt answer questions.

I find it strange meta/facebook is one of the top 10 companies in the world and you cannot contact them if you have an issue? 

anyways ... 

I previously had a oculus quest 2 for a couple years last time I used it was 22-23~ I had an account and games and apps on it but I cannot figure out which account this was and how to access this.  I read about migration to a meta account but I cannot find any emails in this regards.  

I have old receipts for these apps games which list receipt numbers if this helps?
Id like to have access to these games/apps.  I recently purchased a quest 3.

    Hi there djxput 

     

    Oculus accounts were migrated into Meta accounts between November 2023 and March 2024.

     

    If you hadn't completed your migration by March 2024, you would have received an email to the email address associated with your Oculus account titled "Important changes regarding your Oculus account".

     

    In this, there would have been instructions for completing your migration, and a coupon code to redeem and restore your app and in-app purchases after Oculus accounts were deleted. This coupon code has no expiration date, and is currently the only way to recover your previous Oculus purchases.

    Hi,, sorry for the bad news but there were several warnings to update our accounts before April 2024. Even I got the warning even though my account was linked to a Samsung Gear VR Oculus account since 2016 and I hadn't been on VR since 2017. I was impressed by that! I updated my details just in time as I thought to try VR again and I'm glad I did. The Quest is great imo. Maybe you were unlucky and the warning emails went to your spam folder. 🤔 Sorry you lost out.

      thanks - I assume they went to the spam folder as I cannot find them.  Would they be from oculus or meta or? I know the metahelp person above listed the title of the email but I cannot find that.
