Ive been trying to login to my headset but it keeps telling me the login to www.meta.com/device and I tried logging in but it's telling me my email is wrong, or it's not connected to any accounts which is a lie because it's connected to the account ik messaging on, I just need help with this it's making me mad
Exact same thing happening to me, its very annoying. Hope someone can help. If not the thing is going in the bin!!!

Same thing here, my headset was logged but suddenly I can't log anymore to me account, and now my headset ask for connection with Meta/device which is impossible to achieve as I can't log to my account with an error like "mail adress or password incorrect" despite using the two factor auth with code emailed.
Going for a trip in 2 days, was eager to use my headset as kind of pc during the trip but it's no more usable than a brick

Well at least I'm not the only one having this issue. Here I was thinking it was due to not using it for awhile. Decided to try it on a game that is compatible with the headset. I hope they get if fixed soon. Talk about irritating as heck.
Same to me when i needed to log into my acc on my phone i wasnt able to bc i didnt remember so i tought i can put it on English ( had it before on german) and now all i have stand there is that 8 letter / number code and when i try to log in a new acc i made it tells me my e mail does not have any account so i guess i need to buy a new vr 😞

I FIGURED IT OUT!!! You don't actually have to sign in for it to work. my headset was already connected, but I haven't used it in months so it was showing the code thing. restarted it multiple times, updated it, it wouldn't go away. I did all of this yesterday, thought I'd give it another try today. i turned on my headset, tried opening the quick menu, same thing kept happening. my menu or anything else I opened would just go behind the ad for the code. then I thought, what if I click through it? I opened quick menu and pressed a random button through the ad. IT WORKED! I pressed "Move" and the ad went away. its right under reset view, hope this helps!

For me the ad never popped through my quick menu. I was still able to go in my quick menu. Even them I tried to click though it and nothing worked. I also never saw a button under reset view, just the “Report a problem” button.
Same problem here despite having multiple emails confirming that i signed in with that email
