PAYMENT METHOD

I'd love to buy games. But meta doesn't seem to want me to. 

I want to add my card to my meta quest 3s. I've done it every way I can tell. I don't understand. 

I've tried using auth.meta.com, other setting, add card but I get "sorry we can't add your payment method". On the quest 3s, it says can't verify zip code. Yet, it's correct. 

I'm not going to potentially waste money on gift cards and them not work either. This is pretty **bleep**ing pathetic.

    Maybe try another browser, a user reported, it worked by avoiding Chrome browser.

    Unable to add payment method | Meta Community Forums - 1358209

    I'm sure, I read somewhere, it worked for someone after unlinking Facebook from Meta account.... can't find that post anymore🙄

    Maybe use mobile data instead of WIFI or vice versa.

    If you  tried it from phone or headset, try it from pc

      Oddly enough... not being on wifi worked. From what I could tell. 

      Used my phone, on the horizon app, went to buy the game I wanted, hit add payment method, added the details and it somehow just... worked? Lol

    A lot of the time problems like this are caused by your bank or financial services provider blocking it. Happened to me when I got the headset a year ago. Turned out it was my fault with an incorrect setting on my banking app. I think it's safe to assume that Meta actually does want you to buy games and give them your money.  As your issue is with your personal account there is no point in asking people here, we are all just users.

    Before that, contact your bank and make sure there is no block in place. Good luck.
