For the past couple weeks, when trying to complete any app purchase I’ve been getting an error “Request not completed.
We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn't be completed. Please try again later, or visit our Help Center.“
I get this error for multiple payment methods, including PayPal and credit cards, that were previously working and get the error when trying to purchase in the headset, in the app, or on the website
I tried adding a new credit card, but just get a generic error
I thought I might be able to work around the issue by adding a gift card to my account; The gift card successfully added, and it shows $0.00 owed when trying to purchase, but then the purchase fails with the same error again
‘I’ve tried messaging support through both chat and email for a couple weeks now. I think the case should still be open, but it’s hard to get any response to messages, and there’s no hint yet what the issue would be or when it might get resolved
Anyone have any experience with an issue like this or any idea how to get a problem like this better escalated with support?
I’ve been an avid user since the original Oculus Rift and have never encountered an issue like this, and it’s frustrating that it’s so hard to find the right person to help with this.
