Meta Quest v83 USB Link problem

Question

Public Beta v83 has e problem with the max bitrate encoding that you can use in the DebugTool

On v83 you can use up to about 640mbits MAX before getting lagg, stutters, jumps, etc, staying in the Meta Link Dashboard you already notice all the problems, without running any game or app. That of course affect EVERYTHING that you run in that state.

On v81 you can use up to the limit of 960mbit without ANY lagg or problem, totally smooth.

Thank you so much for that info I was banging my head to the wall why my old settings didn’t work and it was MBps my old worked prefect at 960 now 500&nbsp;

Yeo, new version, lol!...&nbsp;Quest v83&nbsp;Build: 5156385.13680.520 (NON BETA)Meta Horizon Link version:83.0.0.311.349 (NON BETA) The app running on the PC side.DO NOT WORK! (at higher than around 550mbits using USB Link)I am now DOWN grading to v81 again, I hope that v81 on Quest works with v83 on desktopLet's seePD: So at this very moment... So, forget it, I am going back to v81 for now.UPDATE 2:Ok, it seems that the problem comes from the v83 in the DESKTOP app, not from the firmware version on Quest, no matter what version of Quest (v81 or v83) you have, everything was working fine with v81 on desktop app, after the update on desktop app to v83 (beta or not), no matter what version you use on Quest, the problem of bitrate working limit it's there, the sad part ... there is no way (that I know of) to DOWNGRADE the Desktop app to v81. If someone knows how, please let us know, thanks. I am stuck with v83 on Desktop app, so I have the problem until META decide to fix the problem.

You're welcome! and BTW! ... The new official NON PUBLIC BETA release v83 for Quest it's now working without that problem, I don't know if the latest BETA still with the problem, I did't test it yet.

I updated to that and min still gives me super bad stutter at 960MBps I have to be down to 500 with same settings as few days ago , it happened before once as well due to update . I wish they made it optional and don’t force the Pc update , I had my wifi off since v81. And it was magical now I’m think to purchase a dedicated headset like Index used to be to avoid all this bull every few months.&nbsp;
