Quest 3 controllers will go into sleep mode and after a certain while will never reconnect

The controllers will consistently never reconnect after remaining on sleep mode for a little while, is there an actual fix to this? Meaning one that doesn't involve replacing the batteries, pairing the controllers again, turning it off and waiting to turn it back on again, rebooting, or minimizing it by turning off hand tracking. Just an actual fix?

Nope.

Yikes... After spending what is practically about 6 times the price to get my hands on this headset with my currency, this being a common issue is in this version kind of unforgivable. Though thanks for the instructions, hope they'll fix it soon.

What I suspect is, and it's just a wild theory btw, is that the new Meta VR Glasses that will launch next year will be [primarily] hand tracking only. Also, the Meta VR Hackathon Competition that is currently happening requires all submissions to be able to be played totally controller free. I think Meta is therefore trying to encourage us to stop using our controllers because their future VR games will be mostly controller-free so they can work on the new VR Glasses 🙃.

Well, not really, you could try a factory reset, or howling at the moon. Or as steve_40 says send a bug report through the headset.

Personally I'd go with the howling. There are actually two options below. One might work. 😉
