Meta Link v.85 infinite loading

Whenever I try starting up meta link my headset will display this image

It will not stop loading and will spam my windows notifications about how my link isn't working and that I should check a support article that doesn't exist.

I've tried every solution at this point including:

  • Restarting pc and quest multiple times
  • Blocking oculus outbound rules on firewall settings
  • Clearing all temp file
  • Relocating my link cable to a different USB port
  • Blocking my ethernet before starting link
  • Reinstalling and repairing meta pcvr app
  • Trying to use airlink to play, doesn't work

Does anyone have any other fixes I can use?

    Yep.

    If your PC/laptop has an integrated GPU plus a dedicated gaming GPU, then disable the integrated GPU. Having two active GPUs confuses things (most common solution).

    Also make sure your gaming GPU driver is up to date, especially if it is an nVidia GPU. Use the NVIDIA app to check for updates. That's the second most common fix.

    The firewall/ethernet issue was resolved weeks ago and is no longer necessary.

    That should cover 99.99% of the infinite loading issues in Link.

      My pc has an i7-13700k which does have integrated graphics but they have been off for a while due to a different issue that required integrated graphics to be off. I also forgot to mention in the post that all of my drivers are up to date. Any other solutions?

        Also, make sure the Windows service "QWAVE" is not disabled.
