Game Downloads keep cancelling themselves on Quest 3

hi im having an issue when trying to download asgards wrath 2, im on q3, every time i try to download the game, the download stops and the asgards wrath icon goes back to install, i normally get between 100-600mb when it does this, the highest download i have got to is 18gb, i have restarted the quest and done a factory reset, there is plenty of space and i have tried different wifi networks. i can download and install other games just not this 1.

This is fixed!

Our team has informed us this is solved (over all issues with games downloading)

Stuck on installation:

1.Restart the headset

Please let us know if this is still an issue to get a better look into this for you!

Yes, does sound like mobile internet could be the issue, but I agree that it's confusing the issue has only just started. I'd guess that either the download protocol was changed in the latest software update or the Meta servers change how they operate when there is high load, so it has become apparent since everyone started downloading AW2.

im also on three 5g mobile data, never been an issue for v60 update tho, maybe something in the update doesnt like it, that would explain why we are all having the same issues

iv tried other networks as well, maybe its a fault that happens when v60 update is done on a three network, sounds stupid but its something we all have in common

OK, it gets stranger.......I just switched everything on my home network to a VPN and guess what......Asgard's is now downloading, I am about 6GB in and I always had it mess up between 500-600MB previously.
What the hell???

I did get an email from Smarty last week saying they are planning work in my area and that there might be issues. Might be connected.

Obviously I don't want to stay on VPN full time because it's just slower, it always is but if I can get Asgard's to actually download and install then we have something to go to support with I guess?

iv noticed beatsaber is the only game that will install, dont know why, even steam link wont install and thats under 50mb

So I am in the USA. My wife and I can't do anything with both our quests. So I tried something, I have the rift S for PC, so I tried to update walkabout mini-golf on my PC rift version. Not only will it not update, but it crashes my router. I tried updating it several times and it just won't work. This is a Meta server problem not a quest specific issue. So as far as I know, none of the oculus rift nor quest games will download or update. I think their servers are the culprit.

Imperators It does seem to be their (Meta) own apps that install fine.

VPN was a great suggestion - I've turned mine on & it's downloading. Up to 4gb so far compared to 1.6gb as the most previously.
