Gorilla tag not working

I updated my gorilla tag and now every time I try to play it I can’t the screen goes black and an agreement form pops up so after I agree to it the screen stays completely black!! Can someone please help me

    Hey there AaliyahEmma, thank you for reaching out about this. We hate it when our games are black screening, and we would love to assist you however we can!

    The first step we would recommend would be to restart your headset by turning it off (Press and hold the power button until prompted to shut down the headset) and leave it off for 10-20 minutes before turning it back on. If the game still gets stuck on a black screen, try un-installing and re-installing the application and give it another go. As a last resort, you could try a Factory Reset if all else fails.

    If you continue to have issues with a black screen, please test if any other applications are having the same issue. If it is only Gorilla Tag that is having issues with a black screen, please consider reaching out to their support channels for assistance.

    I have had the same issue for over a month.  Restarted, reinstalled etc, all to no avail.  Contacted axiom and never got a response.  Always requires acceptance of service terms and then black screen.  Audio still works and you can apparently move but you can’t see anything….

    You try a factory reset of the headset?  or u think its more in the game.

    Mine is doing the same exact thing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still isn't working. Did you get it to work?

    Hey skeletonkiller, welcome to the Community Forums.

    Could you make sure if this is happening with only Gorilla Tag, or if it happening with multiple games? It's possible this may be an issue with the game itself, which may require assistance from the developer.

Can someone please help me? I’ve already tried the soft reset, uninstalled and reinstalled the game too. Nothing will fix it. All other games work. The oculus has been system updated already. I also opened a ticket w Axiom. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

    Have you guys tried launching another application? If any other game or application works, it's most likely an issue with Gorilla Tag itself rather than the headset. Seems like this has been something that users are experiencing often, have you guys tried visiting their Discord for help?

Do you know if this issue is happening with just Gorilla Tag or other games as well? Have you tried clearing  your app data for gorilla tag? If so then the next option would be to factory reset your device.

    My gorilla tag is not working my phone will not even connect to my headset

    Hey my gorilla tag isn’t working on my oculus quest 2, every other game works just not gorilla tag. I have spent lots of money on the game but now sadly I can’t play the game, I have multiple accounts and it works on every other accounts just not the one with money spent on it. I load in to a black screen then 3 dots appear and I get loaded out every time. I have reinstalled it multiple time and even done a factory reset with cloud backup enabled and nothing worked. Please help Meta Quest.

    I just got the meta quest 2.  I installed Gorilla Tag and it does not appear to work.  To the right I see what looks like a cave with coloured walls.  It just stays on that.  I uninstalled and reinstalled same thing

Unresponsiveness in our games is a source of frustration for us, and we would be happy to help as much as we can!

    Also, have you attempted to launch another application? If any other game or application works fine, it's most likely an issue with Gorilla Tag itself rather than your Quest. If Gorilla Tag is the only game or app that's unresponsive, we kindly request that you reach out to Gorilla Tag's developer support for assistance.
