Question

A beatiful gesture from Oculus

Friendly comment: Would not be a beatiful gesture for those who have been wating more than two weeks buying a product (and still waiting) giving some present to them?. Obviously, I do not want it sounds like command (nothing farest than I want meaning). It would be a good detail in this situation.

There are several amazing free games Oculus has made available to everyone who buys a rift. Free quality software is the most beautiful gesture of all when you're a gamer.

It's hard being the voice of reason when you're surrounded by unreasonable people.

Tell me about it! I pre-ordered in the first 20 minutes on January 6th, was expecting delivery around the end of March, and received the Rift late May. And I paid $849 CDN for the Rift, plus another $279 for Touch at the end of the year. Where's my free handout?!

Oh yeah, I have a huge collection of awesome VR games, many of which were free. Never mind, I'm happy with my lot. Carry on. :)
DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3. Try my game: Cyclops Island Demo

Ya the free stuff that is in the store right now is very good. Ill name a couple of stuff you need to try for free.

#1 Echo Arena
#2 Robo recall
#3 any of the over 15 free entertainment videos (some interactive) such as disney VR experience, angelicas story (sp), Diggers ww1, and many other cool stuff.
#4 Luckys tale
#5 Toy box
#6 Rec room <pretty cool social VR

and there are many many others.

The value is great right now and to be honest i want to buy games like lone echo or mages tale but im still going through many awesome free experiences two weeks after owning a rift! Enjoy!

I think the waiting isn't really the bad part. What's bad is when you order, you read 2/3 businness day and then you wait for ages without official statements. I've never been a forum person but I didn't followed them I wouldn't have known of the delays, and the response tickets mean everything and nothing since they are so vague that you can't even understand if an order placed on the 15TH (like in my case) is to be considered a new order (so from mid august forward) or not. Lack of communication is the bad part here, anybody could deal with the waiting, but in this period with so many people going on vacation maybe for a week or two and maybe not being present at the house could help considering another option for delivery or another time.

Don't like waiting for your Rift? You can always cancel your order because the person waiting behind you won't mind getting it a bit earlier.
