Australia And New Zealand Rifters Lounge

Well due to popular demand here is the thread for the Australian and New Zealand rift goers to keep in touch and maybe even one day come together for some Riftacular and maybe OcuLAN times ahead, lol.

So come together and start posting about your rift experiences and anything else that may grab our rift attention.

(note - alot of rift puns and maybe went overboard).

    Hey, here's where everyone went!

    I'm loving my Rift. The hardest part about it is getting the kids away from it so I can have a go. I hope to get back to dev too, a few people here seem to want to see the island I made for my wife (and I have a lot of other ideas I've been working on).

    One think I've noticed about the experiences created for the Rift is that there are precious few that have any replayability at all. What have you guys found?

    Can anyone point me in the direction of some good developers here in Australia or elsewhere for that matter?

    I work for Nextspace.co.nz and we got a Rift dev kit at Christmas.

    We develop applications in Unity 3d for auditing and visualizing GIS data as well as oil and gas design and manufacturing companies.

    We are evaluating the rift as a tool to add a level of immersion and interactivity with the 3D data collected from the design systems and real world installations so that the user can make better informed decisions relating to manufacture or layout of processing plant structures.

    Good developers come in 10 sorts, those that understand binary, and those that don't...
