He really doesn't have a clue, He loves throwing spanners in for no good reason.....AirCar is bloody awesome, nuff said.
Lol I know. I remember when he was called Molokow and did nothing but create the dumbest forum polls imaginable. Seems like times change when you take a break from the forums..
Some of those polls were useful.. I was trying to create world peace... and save the children... Let's not forget the important polls about Frogs, they need love and care !
You just dont make these types of games Cyber with smooth turning !!

Yeah, it was really comfortable for me too. I understand why there is teleporting and snap-turning, I mean, I played Serious Sam and Arizona Sunshine (with full locomotion) and I couldn't last 5 minutes. So it's definitely needed in some games. However, other titles, like Eagle Flight, have a lot of motion and it's fine. So it really depends on the game and how the camera is programmed.

You couldn't be more right about that. Echo Arena has a bunch of motion yet I've played it for several hours straight without the slightest feeling of sickness. Minecraft on the other-hand had my taking a break after about 15 minutes due to feeling rough. Both of which have snap turning and vertical motion.
Ive played tones of VR stuff and Aircar is a great addition to what's available. I found it to be very smooth, atmospheric and quite stunning to look at. Controls are absolutely fine.
Pretending that you posted this conversation in good faith, snap turning isn't super inappropriate for free flight games. Can you imagine trying to maneuver in Eve Valkyrie with 15, 10, or even 5 degree snapping? It would be unplayable. The cockpit itself, if designed well, is supposed to mitigate the motion sickness that comes from smooth turning.
