GPS for another level experience

It would be great if the next meta quest had gps, this would give an infinite range of development possibilities.
You could use the google maps api to make videogames where the map is the real world.
Imagine pokemon go VR where you see your real environment full of pokemons, is an example.

Agreed! Was thinking about that as well today. An alternative could be to retrieve the gps data from your phone somehow?

    Definitely, this whould be a game changing feature, I have tried sideloading multiple Drone apps, but I think they all did not work because they require the device to have a GPS, but if it has it, it will be amazing to be able to fly around my drone easily with a massive screen anywhere

    That’s a really interesting idea — adding GPS to the next Meta Quest could open up a whole new category of mixed-reality and location-based experiences. Integrating GPS with VR/AR would allow developers to merge real-world geography with immersive content, enabling things like large-scale outdoor adventures, navigation overlays, or games similar to Pokémon GO but in full VR/AR immersion.
