Question

I'm done with PC multiplayer games.

I'm seriously just done with multiplayer games on PC. Call of Duty ghosts and Battlefield 4 are brand new games! (and CoD ghosts is VAC secure!) How ever, I had seriously 3 wall hackers in a single game. One was on my team, and there were 2 on the other team "That made it bloody obvious he was hacking. He shot me through the walls and acted like it was nothing. I accused him of hacking then he left the game (even though he was going 24 - 0).

Am I the only one getting sick of PC multiplayer games?

Trust me once the oculus rift can fully work with consoles (without having to have multiple PCs hooked into them) I'm just seriously sticking with consoles for multiplayer games, and PC for single player. Anyone else agree?

Well you'v mentioned one average console fps and a buggy fps. There are dozens of PC only fps games like planetside 2, Tribes, CS-GO etc. Try something different and don't stick to crappy console fps's with childish communities.

I think I might agree. I never played multiplayer shooter games on PC (except Warrock, which was full of crap hacks), but I did on console. I had more than 20 days game-time combined but never never even suspected someone ingame of hacking.

You're playing CoD and BF4, and you're playing with randoms. Believe me, hackers, morons, trolls, griefers, campers, cry-babies, kiddywinks are nothing new (ever heard of punkbuster?). Just wipe those tears and move on to better pastures.

That's as much a console hack as a PC hack BTW.

Yeah. And PC hacks quantity and severity puts console hacks to shame. The other thing is that many servers are quick to permanently ban hackers, many servers run punkbuster or similar software to prevent hackers from entering the game in the first place, and many servers are just naturally hacker-free.

That is to say, both console and PC multiplayer have their fair share of hackers. You just have to stop playing on hacker server that instant you notice a hacker, and go visit another server. For example, CS 1.6 (a 15 years old game) active servers count measuers in 4 digits number, so there's zero problem with that.

Eh depends, usually hackers aren't common on consoles (because its a lot harder) you have to actually take apart your Xbox and Soldier your Xbox 360 (which most people are afraid to do) because they fear they're going to ruin their systems.

But usually people that actually do it (the normal hackers) will actually charge people (I lol at this because it just shows the lack of security in the companies game)

But yeah look at this for example : Pretty rare (only happened to me once (in a life time) been playing MW2 since the game was released and this is the only time this has ever happened to me on the Xbox 360

Sounds like you are tired of bad PC multiplayer games

For me it's the opposite, the PC reings supreme in most of the genres I like (FPS, RTS, MMORPG, etc) and I've played almost no console games for several years now.
I was even losing my enthusiasm about PC gaming when suddenly PC VR started to take form.
