Question

I'm done with PC multiplayer games.

I'm seriously just done with multiplayer games on PC. Call of Duty ghosts and Battlefield 4 are brand new games! (and CoD ghosts is VAC secure!) How ever, I had seriously 3 wall hackers in a single game. One was on my team, and there were 2 on the other team "That made it bloody obvious he was hacking. He shot me through the walls and acted like it was nothing. I accused him of hacking then he left the game (even though he was going 24 - 0).

Am I the only one getting sick of PC multiplayer games?

Trust me once the oculus rift can fully work with consoles (without having to have multiple PCs hooked into them) I'm just seriously sticking with consoles for multiplayer games, and PC for single player. Anyone else agree?

Sounds like you are tired of bad PC multiplayer games

For me it's the opposite, the PC reings supreme in most of the genres I like (FPS, RTS, MMORPG, etc) and I've played almost no console games for several years now.
I was even losing my enthusiasm about PC gaming when suddenly PC VR started to take form.

No I don't agree TheArcheaon... there are plenty of player groups out there that you can play with that don't cheat.
Also im big military fan but never ever had the want to play COD online.. in addition I would not want to play FPS with a game pad..lol!

I'm with the others telling that the main problem is the game you choose to play.
Since they already talked a lot about CS and other FPS, you can try Dota2 as a F2P MOBA - trust me, you won't ever see an hacker there ;)
An alternative to DotA2 is is LoL, but I heard that in LoL you have to pay money to unlock characters.

Honestly I think immaturity and trolling is a bigger issue in multiplayer games then any type of hacking/cheating.
The internet offers anonymity, people know there's absolutely no repercussions for acting immaturely, so they do.

It could be young people, it could even be old people acting like children since they can't vent those feelings in real life.

    well, it's kinda new...

I remember back in BF2 days or Ultima Online, people were playing to play, to have fun and some respect.

Now, it's all about killing and betters stats... no team play, no respect.

These days I only play slowpaced simulator-like games in multiplayer. Games like Digital Combat Simulator and ARMAII is great, because the community of mil-sims are usually after immersion and the experience, rather than kills and getting unlocks at blistering speeds.

agreed (which brings out more hackers "to hack their stats" just so they can look better than everyone else. (not giving others a chance on the leaderboards)

I think flightsims, racing- and stradegy games, will be the best inital platforms for Rift Games - since the don't grequire the player to "walk"... these kind of games are not very trollfriendly so I don't think it will be a big issue in vr.

using hacks while in the rift will introduce people to the awesomness of insta-puke I fear... maybe the first time on the hacker himself, then used on others (think spawning something rotating at the camera position of a player).
on a second thought, you could apply that to a hacker if cought red-handed.
e.g. caught doing wallhacks : teleport him to a place where he will feel very bad. maybe it has some kind of educational feature to him, who knows?

its just most FPS shooters (or PvP games) I mean games like WarThunder and HAWKEN I've found really fun and entertaining lately :-) They're great and fun titles. I haven't ran into a single hacker yet. Now there are some complicated players here and there (experienced players) but the games are still pretty fun.
