When are they going to fix the window handling on Horizon OS and let us place windows how we want? v81 now lets us have up to 12 windows open, but we still cannot properly place the windows in the orientation we want. Being forced to use windows that auto-tilt is a joke. We should be able to adjust the windows however we want.On top of that, why can we only grab windows by some hidden spot a cm past the edge of the window? It is awkward as hell. The controllers have grab buttons, just let us point anywhere on the window and use the grab button.

I didn't know if I'd have the courage to make it through a vr horror game. But I'm happy to report that my boxers are intact after propagation paradise hotel.Still not going into resident evil village though. That part with the giant baby and the mannequins that only move when you're not looking was terrifying in non vr. Not trying that in vr lol.

Hey there,i got my new pc last week (9070xt, 9800x3d, 64GB Ram) and now I'm looking for the next step.I used my PSVR1 fairly often, but can't quite get it to work on pc. And since it's pretty outdated anyways, I want to get a good new VR Headset for my pc.I want to play games with it and watch movies (I really want to experience Dune again on a big screen) but I'm completely overwhelmed by the mass of different brands.My price range would be 400€, but if it would bring the while tuing on another level, 500€ would be okay, too. Headset plus controllers would be needed.I don't need to run around since I don't even have the space for it.-400€ (500€ if needed) -primarily gaming -no roomtracking -I'm wearing glasses -located in GermanyI also wouldn't mind to get a used headset.Thanks for the help

Can anyone recommend ways to get more into VR? Maybe some games which are game changers and wow factors, whether they are native or flat2vr. I own a very good system paired with the Quest 3, but never find the urge to actually play! I'm finding that I'm more satisfied watching UEVR videos on YouTube that actually playing myself...

Just a random question that doesn't affect me. But was wondering. I know different headsets need different amounts of correction. Does VD take that into consideration when setting godlike resolution?

Whats up VR people.I have a whole bunch of blu ray 3Ds that I ripped and turned into frame compatible format (SBS/ OU). I got tired of watching them on my epson projector and want to try watching in a VR helmet because Im pretty sure it will be better.Can a VR helmet properly decode and display something in native MVC 3D format? I think that would look better than the squashed down SBS versions, and, I can easily rerip the discs and obtain the files in the original unsquished native 3D format.If yes, is there a preferred VR device for this, or doesnt it matter?Thanks in advance for schooling me on this one

help me, I'm stuck in the usb update menu in Oculus quest 2, when charging and connecting to a PC anyway, the usb update menu turned out so that I didn't notice that the small battery charge and the VR helmet were reduced to 0 percent and now without connecting to a PC or charging, it doesn't turn on, that is, it doesn't heal even if someone It will help, thank you very much.

I'm looking for a PCVR headset preferably under 1750AUD (~1150USD). It would probably be used for action games as opposed to sims. I would also like to get into the lighthouse ecosystem but it not a must. The pimax crystal light seems like a good choice although I've heard mixed reviews about tracking and QA. The vive pro 2 is relatively cheap here but I've heard it doesn't really hold up by today's standards. The index or index controllers are not options because it is not sold here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! edit: Forgot to mention this is to replace my old quest 2 that is currently destroyed from use and I would prefer if the headset is good for roomscale.

Finally decided to get round to playing Doom 3 but looking online I wasn't sure which one to try. From videos online the PC version looks far better visually but the Quest version looks like it has far more quality of life features like the weapon wheel as well as DLC support (I couldn't find anything saying wherever or not the PC version could play Resurrection of Evil). I was wondering if anyone who has tried both has a preference to either version?

My friend showed me their 500-hour playtime on a game in SteamVR. I'm playing the same game, but I don’t know how long I’ve played since I’m using a Quest 3. I bought QGO and checked the system’s recorded playtime, but it’s not an official feature and could reset anytime. Why doesn’t Quest include a playtime tracking feature? I think it’s really important.

I have a Pico 4 ultra and liking it so far, but the dominance of Quest in the VR space means it’s difficult to find controller attachments for my Pico 4 ultra controllers. They look very similar in size and shape to the current Quest 3 ones.Has anybody tried, and had success, with getting attachments like gun mounts, hotas mounts of golf club attachments for Quest 3 to work with their Pico 4 ultra?Appreciate this may be a niche topic but hoping somebody out there has tried this.

Yes, you read that right! The meta quest 3S is capable of night vision.It has infrared cameras and infrared illuminators, making it perfect for night vision. Only thing is I can't find out how to see through the infrared cameras.You can test this yourself by using the space setup feature in pitch black darkness, and it will still work perfectly, allowing you to traverse the room slowly as the scan occurs, even while you can't see your hand in front of your face!I have looked for games and apps that utilise your space to show a different vision mode like Espire 2's espire vision in mixed reality, but this still needs light and is more like a filter, instead of giving you a visual representation of your scanned rooms So long story short is, is there a way to either see through your infrared cameras, which would make this full blown night vision goggles, or to use the scan of your room to give you a visual representation of your space, for example a wireframe of your space while you

I don't know if it's just me, but I would like to see app folders for the Navigator UI. This would be similar to Android and Apple IOS, where you can choose what apps to be in it. I feel like this would be a great QoL feature for the Navigator UI!

This would be my seventh replacement for my Quest 3 due to various issues I’ve experienced: 1. One speaker was busted. 2. The cameras weren’t working properly. 3. The headset kept crashing. 4. Screen tearing kept occurring. 5. White artifacts appeared on the screen. 6. The chip was acting up. 7. A small plastic piece that holds the head strap in place broke, and the lenses were scratched.Honestly, I’m really frustrated with Meta’s build quality.I do want to note that support has been good—people are nice and helpful—but it’s frustrating that I haven’t really been able to enjoy my Quest 3 since I got it over a year ago. I’m glad I have the two-year warranty, but I’m hoping this next replacement can finally be a brand-new unit, rather than refurbished, so I can have a fully functional device.

There are way too many sick people that harass and bully autism and disabled people. When the user gets suspended, they make another account and sometime use cheat engine / other Safeware, and account delete to block the account from anyone looking at the profile. Hate Speech and sexual harassment is increasing to this point reporting them is not doing anything they keep making new accounts and this is mainly happing in Horizon cental. 

Hi Meta! Can you PLEASE add a longer skirt for avatar clothing creations? You only have a mini skirt and a lot women don’t want to wear mini. Plus, I really want to make a Scottish Kilt, and for that I need a skirt that’s just above the knee and is flat at front and pleated at the back. Please? 

A developer friend was looking for some information yesterday and I directed them to the community forums. This visit triggered an email that notified me I had earned a badge. I've been around forever, but only just started referencing this forum more because I'm working on my own VR game now. 😃It turns out I have 21 badges! I love this.  For reference, I'm the kind of worker who will volunteer for work so it can be assigned to me on Slack because when it's done I get to mark "task complete" and enjoy a flying narwhale or unicorn or other visual treat.  😁These badges are fantastic. Not fancy, but I like the idea of doing things to earn a reward. 🏅 Most things in life can be gamified and people are missing out on many opportunities to give & receive joy if they don't leverage that.
