was cooking spaghetti, i boiled the water and put in some canola oil, the water boiled i added the spaghetti and then added in a big spoon of butter.i covered the pot with a lid that has a pressure release and stood nearby, i look up after a minute or two and see the pot look bad so i ran and lifted the lid, some spill over went into the heat element and caught fire, and the water was really bubbly the entire cooking time.i had a premonition i almost had a bad accident but was spare because of someone special. so thank you to whoever holds me dear to your heart! :)

So I ordered a HP Reverb G2 headset, but HP and the vendor are adamant that it comes with a 1 year warranty. I don't want to argue with them them about this, but does anyone know what my rights are regarding consumer guarantees within the EU? This link tells me that it is a 2 year minimum so why are HP saying they sell things with a 1 year warranty within the EU? I have a 4k Samsung television that is capable of running 2k at 120 Hz and 4k @ 60 Hz. On my Nvidia control panel I have the resolution set to 4k @ 60Hz. Now for the question. If I leave the Nvidia control panel set at 4k 60Hz and just set the in games setting to 2k resolution, then will I still get the 2k@ 120 Hz, or will it be 2k @ 60Hz? Or do I also have to set the desktop resolution in the Nvidia control Panel to 2k@ 120Hz, while also settings the in the game settings to 2k @ 120Hz? I hope this makes sense to someone and they can help with this :D

My electricity ran out so my power was cut. Went to the shop to put money on my key, bunged it in the meter. Power back on. Turned on my PC and it stopped mid-boot saying the CPU fan was buggered.Tried bunging it in the Opt Fan socket but does the same thing. Starts spinning then speeds up and slows down.Bloody thing.Going to get myself a Noctua D15 I think, should have done that when I built my machine instead of going for a Cooler Master 212 Evo.Oh well, there goes 80 quids worth of my Yaw VR Motion Simulator ???

I made 2 games so far, from Udemy Unreal Blueprint courses. Governments across the Globe are in Quarantine, so I figured that this community could use a thread to discuss our first-hand experience of its impact. As a side note, I never would have guessed that a global pandemic would be the primary driver to getting VR more mainstream! :p For me, I had taken a long break from VR. I have maybe engaged in VR for 1 hour ever 2-3 weeks. It's been that way for nearly 6 months now. Mostly because I feel that I've experienced so much since I first acquired my Rift in 2016; I got to the point that everything (even new AAA titles) started to feel like 'more of the same.' This is something that has impacted me before. For example, I began gaming with the Atari 2600 as a kid, moved on to NES, SNES, Sega, and eventually PC Gaming. But I took a very long break from gaming (over 5 years) because I hit a point where everything on every gaming platform felt like a regurgitation of something I've done before.However, now that I'm stuck home for at least 2 weeks

Since this pandemic is global, I was curious as to the thoughts of this community on the topic of whether "going back to business as usual" is realistic. It seems to be one of the most common phrases used nowadays; where the general public believes that the end of this Pandemic is just a few weeks or months away, and then life will return to normal.I'm not one of those people. I'm one of those Joker-esque, "you've changed things, there's no going back" kinda folk.I believe that the global workforce has already changed, and there will be new types of businesses that naturally flourish over others, even after the pandemic. Remote Work will become mainstream, and going in to an office to sit at a desk or cubicle will be treated as obsolete and antiquated; at least for that Fortune 1000 and similar type organizations.I believe that virtual events will become preferred over standing in lines and public gatherings; which will continue to impact venues such as movie theaters and concerts.But,

Are there alot of games developed for Tech geeks over 40 years old. So my kids got me a Quest for Fathers day.As I traverse the games,, I see a lot cartoons or your kids games. Are serious racing games like Indy 500or grans Turismo type racing games. 1st shooter games are getting better, so I like that. At first I thought people were praising the AMD Ryzen 3950x due to it's price and since I'm looking to build another computer I thought I was in for a bargain. That is until I checked the price of the AMD Ryzen 9 3950x and saw it's £689. So why all the rave for AMD Cpu's? The Intel i7 9700k has better performance in games and it's cheaper at £570.

I have a pursa mk 3 and I finnaly got the damn inland abs to stick to the bed!!!I wanted to make this with my resin printer but for the life of me I cannot get through a print without a failure so im chaning the reasin for a different company to see if that helps.I only made these from files that were on Thingverse.I did not cad them and im not taking credit for their design.But I did make em. They usecotton and gauze to make replaceable dfikters but its more of a mechanical barrier then for use in a hospital.All told it takes about 16 hours to print the three pieces.I also found a Bane version im tempted to make.
