My take is this would probably be a better match for my Quest 3/Pro, than getting another headset. It would give me a wider use case including my travels and productivity, especially with Windows multi-screen integration, the PPD may be good enough now for that.

Keep the Quests for VR gaming at home, glasses for everything else. The price though means it's not a definite. Well, I have until spring to decide!

It's interesting. Although there are a few things that I'd consider cons:

    • FOV too small for VR gaming use.
    • I have two  headsets that have similar glasses form factor: Vuzix Wrap1200VR and Tilt Five. Both are the most unpleasant to wear headsets out of my 13. There's not enough grip from the side arms so although the weight is low, it's almost entirely supported by your nose, which I don't like. So my gut instinct is I wouldn't like wearing these. The Vuzix weighed 91g and the Tilt Five 104g.

At least having 2,412 x 2,288 at 70x66 fov will mean pretty sharp images. Good for text.

Yeah, I don't have any other kit that's wearable, I was waiting for something like the Vision Pro but still has access to my Quest library.... and more in my price range.

The reviews so far say they're comfortable when they choose the right nose support.

These look like devices I could work in, that PPD isn't as high is my monitor, but the Windows multi-monitor thing that I've been playing with in my Quest 3 is something I want to take further.

I never got very far with my app for the Quest but it would be an even better fit for these glasses. By the time I finfish it, someone else will have done it.

These things have me enthusiastic for developing again.
