Question

More annoying than God Rays

It's the hottest day of the year in the UK and I've now counted 10 thunder flies walking around in my monitor... especially annoying on the white backgrounds which means most of the forum... I may have to avoid the forum until Autumn

best way to reduce this problem anyone???

    it's like having 10 moving dead pixels

    great, so now I have to avoid black screens with white text in my Rift... and white screens with black text on my monitor

    now that's the best suggestion I've heard.. .I'm joining you with a beer, only I'm keeping my trousers on as otherwise I'm not sure it would help with the flies situation

    we got so frustrated with our IT department's unwillingness to install the software we needed on the server (oh no it needs more testing.. more testing!!!)....  that we ended up buying a stand-alone PC from petty cash just to have all the programs we needed without having to deal with them

    Hahahaha ,,,, yeah ... once I worked my way up the corporate ladder to Board Level in a company, I requested my own domain Admin account .... they were like no .. I was like yes ... then just ran my own shit :)

    I can imagine the hatred that kind of request can generate in an IT department
