I think if I had the opportunity to go I'd choose to go to September 17th, 2029. Assuming I'd go 'missing' during that time, and appear at the time in the future I'd first sell everything I owned, prepare a bug-out bag (you know, just in case!) with a sleeping bag, food, medical pack etc. I'd then go and hopefully if civilization is still here and relatively stable I'd then go and rent somewhere and build my life back up in the future. I'd open another bank account and deposit money into it just in case they don't accept 'old' cash in that time as well.

I'm also wondering what is so special about May 12, 2154. Does it have anything to do with the period in which Star Trek: Enterprise is set? Since season 3 and 4 both fall partially within 2154 according to the timeline.

Considering that the technology the last two decades have evolved way faster than anyone realisticly could imagine, i believe something similar to the full-dive VR technology (sword art online, ya know) will be aviable to the market within 50 years. 20 If we're really lucky.

Would however buy google stocks and maybe some gold before i went. Feels like a fairly good investement :lol:

The answer is easy, travel to the time where humanity has learned how to time travel, learn the skill/tech behind it, and you can do what ever you want xD

Yes, +1000 years. I'd expect it would be mind blowing, but not beyond the point of comprehension or the ability to communicate. Some form of humans should still be around.
