Oh for god sake, anyone that lives near the equator shouldnt buy one by your standards
erm no, the point of my little jest was to illustrate that maybe its not the fault of the headset but that of the environment. Hopefully your air con units are a little less high-maintenance than yourself.
Like I said, how should I advertise Oculus.
Headset only fits AA batteries and can only be used in cold environments.
nope, like you already said... you get sweaty when playing a game like Space Pirate Trainer in an ambient temperature of 30 deg. Although some may feel that falls within the description of the bleedin' obvious.

If your wife limits the use of your air con... then the best solution would be (as already provided)... a fan in the room, as at 30 deg it wouldn't be just your face getting sweaty. Your wife doesn't limit your use of forums does she.
I have a treadmill in the conservatory which gets me very sweaty in the summer months.... perhaps I need to write to Johnson and complain about it not having a built-in fan.

My Q2 is hot very quickly (10 or 20 minutes) and unplayable My brother has the same Q2 and i can play a long time with it. i think the manufacturing quality is not equal from one unit to another.
Hey guys, I highly encourage you to post on the Get Help section of the forums to get better assistance. replies on an old thread can end up getting missed sometimes which would delay getting the issue resolved. I'll be locking this thread now to prevent more necro-posting.
