Question

The heat coming out of these headsets is a killer..

Really, they need to think a bit more about it.

    sweating hot.
When you play a game like Space Pirate Trainer or any game for that matter where you need to move constantly and add that with a background temperature of 30c

and you have to take the headset off it gets that hot.

The only thing i'm reading is that you are getting too hot while playing an active game at an ambient temperature of 30 degrees.
I don't think the Rift matters much in here, guess you either need to shape up or do not play active games when its 30 degrees.

30 degrees celsius is incredibly warm already... of course you're going to get hot if you move around, it's not the Rift.

Mmmm I will agree it gets warm inside the headset, but that isn't the headset fault but my own. Now, I do think they should add in some vents for sure to get some air moving around in there with a light moving fan for a CV2 release if they can, but overall I wouldn't put it on the top 10 list in doing so.

Use a fan, or AC. I was actively using the Rift during summer in 35+ degree weather.

    It's not that difficult.

A fan doesnt cut it and my wife restricts my AC use.

erm no, the point of my little jest was to illustrate that maybe its not the fault of the headset but that of the environment. Hopefully your air con units are a little less high-maintenance than yourself.

I had a look on headset forums (you know where headset discuss in between them) and read a post where one of them complained his user make it too hot. Could it be your?
