Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

For any Thrash fans out there,

A new band is making great waves, and I love that they are from my home state of Texas.

Awesome @Zenbane - much appreciated!!! :)

Been digging checking out the stuff posted in this thread - lots of music to check out, love it!

I see you are a Primus fan (Les Claypool is a great talent!) - I came to Primus via two sources (one being South Park), but the other being on the recommendation of a coworker I had shown Elephant Talk by King Crimson to almost twelve years ago:

He brought me the They Can't All Be Zingers best of album - it took about the whole album to adjust to Les Claypool's particular vocal intonation, but then Southbound Pachyderm came on and it everything clicked. It is one of my favourite songs.

Really? No posts since December? I can't live without music and it gives me chills up my spine. There are people who don't experience this. Man, they are missing out. Big time.

Some songs still sound as good today as they did when first released. This song is one of those. De groovy!

EDIT: Added another clip. After discovering Die Antwoord a few months ago, I've been hooked on their music. The duo are from South Africa and have a fresh sound. Granted, they can be a bit hard core and most definitely edgy. I love this about them. This song is my favourite. Enjoy Fatty Boom Boom!

And, why not, enjoy another. I Fink You Freeky.

Groove is definitely in the heart.

Die Antwoord is a good excuse for some more Little Big videos. (Little Big's first live performance was opening for Die Antwoord)

Lately I've been listening to Miike Snow. So here is the 4 part story of Jean Noel Mustonen, the perfect human prototype.
I don't really like the 3rd and 4th parts, but I'll include them here for the sake of completion. Parts 1 and 2 are awesome.

>.< Derp. I should wear my glasses more.

@kojak. Yes, I was aware of the Little Big connection with Die Antwoord. Their song, Big D**k is about me. TBH, I'm not too happy about it. My jewels are not big, they're massive! I should sue. :D

Anyway, enjoy Florence and The Machine, The Drumming Song. Unfortunately, it was the first song of hers I heard. All the other songs paled in comparison and I could never get into their music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boo2Zm69fhY

A lot of people don't seem to appreciate the dancing in The Drumming Song. To me, it was obviously a style of expressive dance that emulated Kate Bush to some degree. Kate is a rare gem in music, with a unique style all her own. In the clip I'm sharing, her dancing is sublime. It's my favourite Kate Bush song. Enjoy, The Sensual World.

Also, Peace, withy their song, Money. A lesser known song, with a brilliant video that I felt is symbolic on many levels. Enjoy!
