Share some of your favorite songs, artists, ideas, creations, etc.

Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

    Hey @BlastaMasta, I love your videos. I gave you an Awesome, wish I could give you more. Those were some sick tunes (and I take it you like anime, me too!).

    LOL @DaftnDirect, I haven't heard The Specials in a while. Used to be big into them as a teen.

    Thanks, @LZoltowski that's definitely a classic.

    @cybereality
    thanks! I made a demo album a while ago, but haven't released anything huge on record labels yet except a few remixes for other artists.
    There are more tracks on my soundloud page if you're interested. most of them should be free to download.

    @LZoltowski

    awesome tracks @Syndroid ! I went through a dubstep / Drum and Bass phase about 7 years ago, still enjoy Drum and Bass every now and again, some of my friends are still really into it :)

    I have a very broad music taste from metal -> hiphop -> beatles but my true love lies with french electronic music aka Ed Banger Records  :

    @cybereality Anime is my guilty pleasure, because everyone looks at me like I'am a wierdo when I watch it. None of my friends and relatives are into it.

    I just recently started watching it after some discussion about Anime as a medium on some other forums, and initially I thought it's just Sailor Moon etc. but I learned about series like Ergo Proxy, Psycho-pass, Death Note etc. and I am blown away, I even tried ones like Toradora! or Welcome to NHK  and I loved them too. Most recent one "Your lie in april" just leaft me speachless... Guess I am hooked.

    I love this thread, I am so behind when it comes to music... I just don't have time researching it now, think I am getting too old. So keep them coming.

    This song helped me a bit, when I was down.

    https://youtu.be/VNdHd1asf9s

    I  was really hesistant to put this one up, I did, and then I deleted
    it... its only because someone replied adressing it that kept it in
    place. enjoy.

    The song is misleading, this is not a happy story.
