Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

Good ol' Braincorp delivered once more... Just wanted Dawn of Ashes and Chainreactor, the rest is bonus stuff

AD: Key was in the bargain bin, and Cephaly too - but sounded a bit like Rammstein, maybe.. maybe not...

It's my first album from Dawn of Ashes, actually not bad, but most songs are somewhat slower than I hoped for (being an atheist I'm not that fond of all the religious stuff, but I'll manage, The Exorcist still is one of my favorite movies). The Spirit of Anger is my favorite song from the album, but seems this merry feel-good tune is the one they promote the most  o:)

This tune sounds more like the right stuff, might get that one (new album launches July 10 2020):

I got in trouble at school (it was a Roman Catholic school) when I wrote an essay arguing that the Catholic religion was a load of old bollocks and anyone with religious beliefs would be better off worshipping Pagan gods. :D

It didn't go down too well. Got forced to have a chat with the priest at the school who tried to convince me otherwise. Didn't work lol :p :D

Hmmm, better hide that Dawn of Ashes CD, could put me in the greatest amount of trouble if my 8-year-old kid by an accident brought that CD to music class in school  :# But I'm used to hiding CDs  o:)

I'm not normally into pop music unless it has some sorta interesting edge or offbeat element.
This song from producer/bass player Brady Watt actually lacks any of that.
It's just so friggin' well made and catchy I CANNOT sit/stand still if this is played at decent volume with good bass. Give it a try!

Tremonti's Cauterize album is great for the heavier side of things....
