Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

I'm not a great fan of music with no lyrics, but couldn't help thinking that Chainreactor could have improved the music in Alyx - that is, Alyx has several great industrial tunes, but everything could have been slightly more adrenaline pumping here'n there...

Nice choices on the dance tunes. Maybe someone can add those to Alyx in a new Mod.

I only just realised the competing hypno dancer is actually Yuri Muzychenko from The Hatters.

I'm really loving these videos you're digging up. Satirical music is a favorite of mine. Like the older Wierd Al and Richard Cheese stuff.

Weird Al is a legend. Awesome stuff.

One of the things that I really like is when an artist doesn't take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humor.
Having a great (especially funny, clever or unique) video has often gotten me hooked on artists that I otherwise would have ignored if I just heard the song on spotify. For example I got into Little Big because I saw their video for Big Dick and it was hilarious. Then I saw Hateful Love, which I wouldn't have liked as much as a song but the video just had such a unique artistic look to it that I was hooked and wanted to see more from them.

Here's a few videos that I can pinpoint as getting me into bands. All of these got me hooked on a band's music regardless of other videos they made, and that I might have ignored otherwise if the video didn't get my attention. (I've probably posted some of these before)
Fear & Delight by The Correspondents (lots of clever videos)

Honey Bee by Steam Powered Giraffe (I didn't like the song on first listen. But the video intrigued me, so I watched it again and the song got in my head. Now I love it)

We Come Together by Goldfish (many of their videos are great animations by Mike Scott)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-tNUur2YoU

Money by Mystery Skulls (Mystery Skulls Animated is even better, and has a 4th episode due in october)

Eros and Apollo by Studio Killers (they have kickstarted a pilot for an animated tv series about a Matrix style war in the internet between cats and porn!)

Rock It For Me by Caravan Palace (although most people probably know the Lone Digger video better)

Stop, Drop, Roll by Can't Stop Won't Stop (Devin Graham does a lot of cool action videos and often uses CSWS music. CSWS became one of my most common playlists while on the train to/from work)

Genghis Khan by Miike Snow

Nameless World by Skip The Use (I love the art style)

Starlight by The Supermen Lovers (lots of unique videos and so much groovy music)

One More Time by Daft Punk (I knew some of their music and videos before this, but Interstella 5555 turned me into a fan)

On'N'On by Justice (slightly NSFW)

@RuneSR2  - didn't know Chainreactor. Good, solid, no nonsense stuff. It's *SO* demoscene though, which is why I like it quite a bit!

Totally unrelated, I was just sitting here relaxing to a Mammal Hands YT playlist after a run, and noticed the comments in the "Boreal Forrest" vid about the sax player never breathing. I was always just so mesmerized by the music that i never gave it a thought that he couldn't actually play like that without pausing to inhale.. but then I learned about "Circular breathing" - I didn't know that was a thing!   I'm such a noob

Btw, Brian has the goods and like any great pusher, you can pick up the stuff at his apartment and save the shipping  B)

Of course that might only work if you're living in Copenhagen or close - he lives quite close to where I work :-)

I haven't supported him for some time, maybe I should, but due to VR I rarely sit down and listen to music anymore  :(

Concerning electronic music with no lyrics, one of my old friends (he introduced me to Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly when I was 16) just mentioned he's become fond of Boris Brejcha. It's a bit too soft for my taste (=not something I'd buy), but it does have potential:

I've just discovered this guy's YouTube channel. He does reactions to 'old school' songs (so basically anything from the 60s, 70s and 80s mainly).

Just seeing the joy in his face when he listens to some fantastic bands for the first time really is a joy to watch. So good, and he seems like SUCH a nice guy too. Watching him discover Steely Dan gradually was beyond awesome!

Here's his first taste, Aja from the album of the same name.
