+1 @zenbane blame ... I blamed him for a bad compile of shaders for an inhouse game engine we have.
I screamed out ... zeeeeeeenbaaaaaaanneeeeeeeeee

I have never seen an episode of TWD. I only got into series recently. I watched GOT and now I am addicted to Westworld. Westworld is especially appealing because I grew up in some sense in the Wild West with the same geography as Westworld and I work in high tech and Westworld combines them both.
Since season 2 it's been EmmerDale Farm with occasional zombies. That said, I still watch it weekly. the biggest gripe I've got is that they have started filing it on analogue film to make it "more cinematic". fucking grainy ass bullshit :(
This is my forum signature. There are many others like it, but this is mine.
Buuuuut, I happened upon something similar that I really enjoy, Z-Nation. It does start off a with a bit of bad acting, and a few... over the top ridiculous things, but quickly becomes a solid show with much better acting.
I agree, Z Nation grew on me (I haven't watched it from the beginning, came in later). Which is surprising, since it's made by The Asylum (the ones behind Sharknado and a thousand rip off films).
I'm way behind on Walking Dead (I think I finished season 3). I'm not interested in the human drama element, or the "humans are the real monsters" style from so many zombie stories.
There was an interesting movie called The Dead. It was about an american soldier left behind after a plane crash in africa during a zombie invasion. Not a great movie, but it did one thing that I found interesting: apart from one guy at the beginning, everybody was helpful to each other. At one point the main guy ran into a heavily armed guerrilla squad. I immediately thought "yeah, I've seen enough zombie movies. They are going to capture him and he'll need to escape". Nope, they gave him food and water. It was rather refreshing to see humans vs zombies instead of humans vs humans with zombies in the background.
Hmm, I have an urge to install State Of Decay again.
I haven't seen any of Westworld. Maybe I'll watch it at some point. If Yul Brynner isn't in it, it's not really Westworld. (Yes, I know he died 31 years ago. I stand by my statement)
Anyway, a much better series to keep up with is Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure!
Ah.. naruto... the filler king. After years of watching it from naruto > shippudden (or however you spell it) I had to give up on it (around the time that weather kid that just kept repeating, "kon kon kon" got his flashback episodes) I will more than likely pick it back up and finish it eventually, now that it's actually completed. I had to do the same with Bleach and One piece. One Punch Man is a pretty darn good one tho with little filler, though it is short. (I guess all anime without filler would be..) Also really enjoyed the netflix orig anime called Knights of Sidonia, but they kinda messed up season 2, wrong direction entirely and horrid timing with a certain gender fluid character. Seems to me that they wrote themselves into a corner and got lazy, it could have been a great one imo.
Yes those fillers are annoying as hell. I skip a lot of those, or just play them in the background while I do more important tasks lol
I dont watch much else in terms of Anime these days. Naruto is the only series I could ever really get in to. There are Anime "movies" that I loved. Such as "Fist of the North Star" and "Ninja Scroll."
From "Fist of the North Star," it s the manliest Anime scene ever made lol
