Are purchases really lost?

I haven't used my quest 2 in ages and the Facebook account that was linked to it was disabled with no option to appeal. I've had to factory reset it and create a new meta account. Is there really no way to get the apps I purchased back? There were no notifications to say it would be disabled etc.

    Don't know, we have absolutely nothing got to do with Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc, we cannot help with account issues as we are just a user forum troubleshooting Quest VR headsets use only. No Meta staff here. 

    Go here for disabled Facebook accounts.. It's all we can do.

      Unfortunately not.... purchases are tied to the account with which they were made.
