Hi i bought a brand new meta quest 3 from amazon in December my son was playing on it about a minth ago and the screen just went gray I tried to factory reset it 5 times it just does nothing, the screen works as it goes from black off to gray on but nothing after that when I try to speak to meta help it says my account isnt reconised and then when i try to do it useing the serial number it says the serial number is not reconised went to amazon to get help they dont have help for the product and just direct me to meta help, i really do not have a clue

When contacting Meta make sure you use the serial number on the box, not the one on the headset.

If you want to talk to a human Meta Support person directly rather than an AI here's a link.

Go with the WhatsApp method first.

Have your son played games that makes him sweat a lot? Gorilla tag or so?

The black/blank screen can be caused by sweat which found its way into the headset. you can try if using a hairdryer(no heat) like shown in the video can fix that.
