Bug: Mouse pointer becomes uncontrollable when using Quest 3 while lying down
Device: Meta Quest 3
OS Version: Horizon OS 2.7
The mouse works normally when I am sitting upright. However, when I lie down and use the Quest 3, the mouse pointer becomes severely bugged.
The main issue is that the mouse behaves as if the pointer is constantly hitting a screen boundary or being affected by an incorrect coordinate system. For example:
- Moving the mouse left or right causes the cursor to move in a large circular/ring-shaped motion instead of moving horizontally.
- The cursor appears to be rotated or mapped to an incorrect coordinate system.
- The problem occurs specifically when I am lying down.
- Re-centering/resetting the view does not fix the problem.
- Turning Lying Down Mode on or off does not fix the problem.
- Re-centering the view after changing Lying Down Mode also does not fix it.
- When I sit upright again, the mouse works normally.
This mouse worked correctly before the Quest 3 was updated to Horizon OS 2.7. The problem appeared after the system update.
The behavior strongly suggests that the mouse pointer's spatial/coordinate mapping becomes incorrect when the headset is used in a lying-down orientation.
Please investigate the mouse pointer/input coordinate system in Horizon OS 2.7, especially when using the headset while lying down.
