Due to the incorrect date, the internet isn’t working and I can’t use my META Quest2
Hi!
I Have an Oculus quest 2
I can’t contact Meta support. The Quest 2 support page says there’s no device linked to my account, but when I enter the CORRECT serial number (from the Meta Horizon app and on the side of the device), it says:
No product found. Check the information you’ve entered and try again.
The device had been left unused for a long time and wouldn’t switch on. There were issues with the Wi-Fi connection: it would connect but not work, as the date on the device was set to 2022 or 2023. Once the correct date was set, the internet worked. Following a failed update, I had to perform a factory reset. When I switched it on for the first time after connecting to Wi-Fi, the device tried to download updates, but it got stuck at 0% for a long time (I suspect this is because the date has reset to 2022–2023 again).
I can’t update via https://www.meta.com/help/quest/software_update/ either (at around 50–60 percent, the device restarts, but the installer displays the message: "Your device has been disconnected from this computer. Power off your Quest device and try again. If your device is unresponsive, please wait a few minutes before trying again.”
And i cannot enable Developer Mode - app error while switching ON:
"Unexpected error
An unexpected error has occurred.
Please make sure that your headset is connected to Wi-Fi and updated to the latest OS version."
What should I do?
