Question

Facial interface on quest 3

My facial interface on one side is not locking and can just glide. I’m under warranty and how do I get a replacement? It makes my eyes hurt after one being close to the screen one not. I forgot to mention I have glasses too so I really need this.

Hi K1RTLE 🙂

You might be able to fix it yourself.... probably it's just the button that sticks.

CharlesMetaUser  had the same issue.

If you don't wanna try that but claim your warranty you must go here:

Hi theextremeking2 🙂

The user from the thread below had the same issue, read the comments, maybe that solution works for you too.

K1RTLE  As a bit of unrelated advice regarding glasses. I have them too, and it's a very good idea to get prescription lenses that magnetically attach over the lenses. You still need the glasses spacer as the lenses are a little further out, but the difference in comfort level is really very good when you don't have to wear glasses.. An added bonus is that they protect the headset lenses from scratches. They can be expensive from some suppliers but I got mine on Ali Express and they are perfect. You place the order, they will ask you for your prescription, they won't accept just you telling them your number, you need to send a copy of the prescription, they take a day or two to make them and they arrive very fast. I actually ordered 2 sets in case one broke but more than a year later they're still perfect. And I think both sets cost me around $40 including import tax and included antiglare coating. Sorry for going away from the subject but when you get it fixed, consider prescription lenses. Good luck, hope you have a good resolution!
