Have to "repair" the Link software every time...

The Quest Link app for Windows has been horribly broken for a few weeks now. There's a 50% chance I'll need to use the setup program and hit "repair" after every use, as it frequently freezes upon startup.

If I get lucky and it does work, I will have to fully reboot the Quest 3 afterwards, as otherwise, after closing the Link software, my hands will never reappear and I have no way to use navigate the Quest menus (I don't use controllers with the headset, just hands - and all hand tracking dies after using Quest Link for Windows until after a hard reboot of the Quest 3).

This never used to happen prior to a recent update, so I really hope things get back to normal soon.

I am trying to develop a game for this platform and it's becoming infuriating because I need to repair my installation every time I reboot my computer. This needs to be fixed, it's absolutely unacceptable.

Yeah this app sucks balls. Every time I have to update it the app breaks and I have to hit “repair” but when I repair it doesn’t get fixed it just uninstalls itself and tells me to restart my PC & when I do that; nothing happens. So I have to go to the website and install it like if it was new. **bleep**ty assed devs.

I just replaced my Rift S with the Quest 3 and love everything about it so far EXCEPT I have the same issue. Start Meta Quest get window saying it needs to be repaired, click on the repair button and it says repair failed, close that window then start again and it starts just fine.

Any fix yet? Was going to reinstall but reading here seems that doesn't fix.

Uninstall the Meta Quest Link app. Download a fresh copy off Meta's website. Re-install using the new installer 🤷‍♂️. There was a new update just today.
