Headset general issues at startup/login

The headset commonly doesnt open any ui after login, you can recenter, open the power menu, click the meta button and hear the menu sounds, but it wont appear. Also, the area where you enter your PIN freezes all the time, then unfreezes after 2-3 seconds. Its already been factory reset once and i am not willing to do it again.

This happened immediately after the last v2.5 update on my daughter's headset, but only when logging in on her secondary (child) account. The headset worked perfectly if I logged in using my primary account. After about 15 minutes of fiddling, I put the headset down for about 10 minutes, then switched profiles from the primary to secondary account, and everything suddenly started working again. I think the headset just needed time for the new update to settle in. Sometimes extra stuff gets downloaded and installed/updated in the background, while waiting 🤷‍♂️.
