Horizon Link app won't install

It'll start installing, but in the final half randomly it'll stop and say I need to restart my computer. I've tried:

  • Restarting my computer
  • Deleting the temp cache folder in my main drive
  • Deleting the folder in appdata

 

I have no more ideas. Any help?

    Disable your firewall and antivirus during the download/installation.

    If you use VPN disable that too.

    If you have a second monitor, disconnect it.

    Run the install as administrator.

      Did all of that, but it installs correctly, then immediately uninstalls. If I open it in time, it says I need to update, and when I try to it just opens the installer again. The installer still says to restart, though.

      zvstheworld.207​  are you using the an old installer?

      Months ago people were unable to install the link app - this issue was fixed by Meta.

      But if you didn't downlöad the fixed installer, you might still have that issue. Maybe downoad it again.
