Hi, I bought a used Meta Quest 2. It is still linked to the previous owner’s Meta account, but the seller is currently not responding. I have the headset in my possession. Can you help me remove the previous account so I can use my own Meta account?

      Factory reset the headset, this removes the current account from the Quest and you can set it up with your account.

        Do what Choleni​ suggests. It will solve it.. It's a bit strange that there is silence from the previous owner as they shouldn't want others to have possible access to their account and would usually remove the headset from their own account before selling it. I hope you haven't bought a stolen device as it will be disabled by Meta if it is reported as stolen. Just be aware of the possibility. It's happened to a lot of people. Fingers crossed, you're OK,🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 but always better to know who you're buying from, there's a big market in stolen headsets.
