Meta Quest 3 Headset fan blowing constantly, won't turn on

Exactly like the title says, I put my Quest 3 in sleep mode after using SteamVR for a while, and the headset's fan is now going constantly and nothing will turn on, despite the headset not being even slightly warm. LED on the side does nothing, hard reboot does nothing, the only response I get is the fan will turn off for just a second after holding the power button for 10-15 seconds and start back up. I already did a factory reset through Horizons as well and nothing else is working. Anyone have a fix?

I believe the hard blowing fan means the Quest has gone into EDL mode (Emergency Download Mode). Try the following recovery methods (copied from Google AI):

I've already tried everything on here at the time of posting this

1. Holding the power button only turns the fans off for a moment then they kick back on, nothing else happens
2. Ditto for 1, no meta logo or boot screen appears
3. PC won't recognize the headset as a device with any cable, including ones that worked before
4. Tried a factory reset, nothing has changed with the headset.

I don't wanna have to get the thing replaced but if that's my only option I will. I'm gonna try letting the battery die first and if I get nothing in the morning I'll contact meta support.
Makes for a really expensive desk fan though.
